My 680 GTX is doing fine.

I pre-ordered, but apparently I missed the first batch ... next batch due in March 21st.

I get this today, the KFA2 ( Galaxy) 680 4gb in background.

How does it handle FSX? Are you using bufferpools=0 and fiber frame to 0.10 or 0.12?

Im a long time GTX 690 user, and can honestly say it was a waste of money. It performs as well if not worse than my single GTX 680 did.

Have only playing with it for 5-6 hours, test a spec GPUMark 5040x1050 3views it performs very

nice in heavy clouds compared to my 680 4gb 15fps avg for the 680 and 30fps with the Titan.

In CPU bound areas its no differens (expekted).

I run P3D.

It clocks really good close to 980 boost 1180 with 1.2v

For me running 3Xmonitor setup, the problem was fps drops in heavy clouds with high IQ settings for the 680.

The Titan solved that iam very happy with it.

You bought a 690 from a 680 for fsx? You should have done more research, a dual gpu makes no difference for fsx and sometimes does worse.

Thanks for the info, time to put it on my wishlist. I really want to run high aliasing in heavy clouds. Maybe I can afford it by the end of this year.

Westman can you give me an idea in the external view panning around aircraft are you seeing a noticeable difference in smoothness ? thank you.

Good to see that FSX can even make good use of a Titan in certain conditions. FSX might be an old 'game' but oh dear does it eat hardware for brekfast, lunch and dinner.

What sort of GPU memory usage do you have in that scenario and do you use more than 2Gig often?

I'll be selling my GTX 680 4GB classified unit pretty soon if anyone is interest ... Titan should arrive within a couple of weeks.

Have played and did some small tests

 

Have not seen more than 1.5  the same as the 680
