March 16, 201313 yr I decided I'd post some pictures from near Gaithersburg, MD. I love the way the countryside looks from above. I used to spend considerable time in Gaithersburg in my younger days, in my early career. I grew fond of the area. Hope you enjoy the pictures John

March 17, 201313 yr Thanks for all your comments. I've been posting so many Wings of Prey threads, the night I captured these screenshots was my first with FSX in quite a few weeks. FSX sure is enjoyable, especially with Tileproxy running and my suite of Carenado aircraft. Regards, John

March 18, 201313 yr In the small thumbnail image it looks so much like a C310 but has the high tail section. March 18, 201313 yr especially with Tileproxy runningI take it that we are seeing tileproxy at work in the screenies?? Nice!! Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
March 18, 201313 yr I take it that we are seeing tileproxy at work in the screenies?? Nice!! Not quite Tileproxy at its best though. Some shots are a bit blurry--reason being I flushed my Tileproxy cache which had tens of Gigabytes of data. First time one flies through a scenery area after the cache has been flushed, Tileproxy is loading the scenery off the web. My next flight over the area will look even better. John
March 18, 201313 yr I'll have to keep an eye out for your next shot then. I'm impressed. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
