Not only Tom, anybody and everybody who purchased from PSS had a bad experience. They may be around a bit longer this time, until the money runs out.

The moment you used "anybody" and "everyone" your post as good as ___________. ( trolly ?)

Yes.  That's in the same ballpark as "you are the only one that has reported ....."

The all-inclusive statement is rarely true, but so far I have found 100% of instances of the above statement to be false!!

"I will never put my name on a product that does not have in it the best that is in me." - John Deere

What's good I keep; what's bad I don't

While you seem to have the luxury of selectively choosing your bad apples, people that had purchased PSS products were out of pocket and out of product when PSS chose to close shop without telling anyone (so customers could have made backups) and pulled their servers offline which had the purchased products on them.

These people didn't get to keep anything.

I'll be the first to say it's the customer's responsibility to backup their own software due to "whatever."

But PSS had a responsibility to communicate with those who did business with them too. They failed in every aspect pertaining to the word "communication" and basically screwed over all their customers.

Now all of a sudden they're back as a new brand, but with the same people running the show and most likely with the same mentality since, as someone mentioned, not a single apology was given for their lack of consideration for PSS customers.

And now, you want to brand this same company with the word king and hail them as the next best thing since sliced bread?

If anyone is thinking with a closed mind, it's you. Mine is wide open, and I see the same company now that I did before. They just have a new name and a new logo.

If you choose to do business with them that's entirely up to you. But please don't shovel this horse manure down people's throats that they're oh so great and blah blah blah.

Because they aren't.

If I see an apology from them for putting people out of hundreds of dollars in some cases without a single word, then maybe I might consider having a change of heart.

Until then, not a chance.

Good luck with your public relations campaign.

hahaha... Well, supporting a developer and being happy with their product is called reality- not fantasy !

Are you mad cause others are happy, ahhhhhhh, poor thing!

Or the one where he said it takes Boeing/Airbus 4-6 months in the real world to completely design and build an airplane from scratch, so developers should be able to design for FSX in less time then that.

I mean c'mon....totally factual.

Some of you need to chill.

I strongly support your desire. I strongly believe you should call them (or write them), and tell them they owe you an apology! Go boy, go!  Be Strong! :t0103:

Please allow me to correct you. I have never said "It takes Airbus or Boeing  4-6 months in real world to completely design and build an airplane from scratch, so developers should  be able to design for FSX in less then that." I dare you show to me proof of such words.

( OJ, if I were you I would go to sleep and save yourself from an embarrassment. Trust me this guy knows what he's talking about and you will look bad.)

Sure let's keeping waiting for PMDG 777. The question during all this time has been: "For how long are we going to wait?" Another 3 years or 2 years? We have waited long enough from a so called top developer...The same goes for FSL...If you don't have the time, money, and resources to do something right and within an acceptable time frame (say< 8-12 months), then don't bother. If you are going to take  4- 5 years something is really wrong..Either you simply don't have the manpower or skills to get it  done correctly...Orr, you simply enjoy to build-up  a flashy hype.

Airbus and Boeing take only about 4-6 months to build a real gigantic fully functional airplane, and these flight sim "developers" are taking up to 4 years to complete a mini piece of dancing graphics..why? Not enough skills? Only a 1 or 2 man corporation? Or is it worked only on Easter Sunday? Maybe!

You're a troll man.

You're a troll man.

hhahahahahaha....I knew it ! See I told you...Read my words and compare them to yours; are they the same ? NO !  I told you, man, but you didn't listen to me. They may seem alike but they are totally different and mean something completely  different from what I mean...see what I mean? I told you.

Now, you called me a troll...Hey, you should see how tall and built I am- nothing like a troll.

Lock in 3...2...1...

Johnny,

Ease off a bit... I understand you're very spirited about the company and their products, but belittling users who disagree with you is not constructive.

I don't want to lock this thread. I trust we can all act like adults and get the topic back on track... As much as possible.

Sincerely,

Chase
