I have high hopes for BBS, I remember the PSS 777 when first released was head and shoulders above anything else at the time functionality wise. The bar is much higher now though.

Althought I personally prefer the AXE, the BBS Airbus developments are looking stronger now, and will hopefully offer some good products when completed.

But equally, look at the Just Flight 737-200, which is 100% made by BBS; and which - honestly - has to be one of the worst add-ons for the money, in the last couple of years.

I would just never put BBS in the esteemed group of high quality developers, and thus this topic just perplexes me ...... but I do fully subscribe to "each to their own".

Playing nice is fine, it is just the part where you can call it like you see it that I miss in this day and age.

Shut down, Bleep your customers, then make a comeback

Why not I guess, the financial crisis was a lot worse than this, and all those responsible for the mess got bonuses lol.

To the OP, sorry my friend but I am going to have to disagree with you here.

Call me old fashioned if you will, but I will stick with the Dictionaries translation of the term wrong (use of the word wrong is for compliance with current politically correct directives :LMAO: ).

Are we talking about the same people here running BBS that were running PSS?  Not sure who it exactly is, but if its different people, I dont see the relevance from PSSs reputation from before and any problems they caused to their customers. You know how many companies go under or about to, with a bad reputation in some respects but another company or ownership comes along takes it over and makes it a great company.  So if this is indeed new ownership, then this slate is clean and shouldnt really judge until some products have pushed out. So far the 330 im flying is well on its way. Needs work, but very flyable and functional.  Whats more they are making an effort to fix things as they come up from user feedback. That says alot.

If this is indeed the previous ownership trying to revive, well then my post just became useless.  Unless they turned over a new leaf.

Are we talking about the same people here running BBS that were running PSS?

Yes - it is the same people (The Waterfield brothers) - that's the point being made here, and why so many comparisons and references are being made to PSS.........

That's exactly what I thought too    (feared!).

Actually it is Graham and his son.

Ah sorry - I stand corrected!

Well people always deserve a chance to redeem themselves. So time will tell.

For those of us who have a passion for Flight Simulation, and have spent several thousands of dollars in the very best hardware and software, competition is sweet. We live and move with an open mind and not with a closed-ended mind... The higher the competition, the better    products are getting...for me, it's a wonderful thing. I know  I have options and have developed an eye for quality. We may have different opinions, but, what's good is goooood. Unless you think with a closed-mind.

I love to pick and chose things in life with an open mind, and I have experienced nothing but lots of enjoyment. What's good I keep; what's bad I don't

Good luck !

Yeah, but... This particular company is like a light bulb to moths carrying some very bad experiences with them. I am just putting folks on notice that we will keep an eye on this one and we expect everyone to play nice.

Edit: And "king" is hardly how I would characterize this company. That's my two cents.

Wow, sounds you've had a really bad  experience, Tom... Sorry to hear this.

Competition is goooood !  (Here's a wise statement on Aerosoft's Airbus announcement)

"As always we do not spend a lot of time looking at our competitors, we got our own ideas, our own plans and a few tens of thousand of customers spending their money. It's for them I wrote this message."
