April 27, 201313 yr Author Hope you did not buy yet... The FSX ifly does not have VC rain... FS9 only No, not yet. Think I'll just stick with the PMDG for now and buy the L39. I'm definitely gonna check out the freewarestuff though:-) For the NGX ? I think only for the FSX built in default 737. Ant's Airplanes Sierra, Eaglet and Drifter all have VC rain. http://www.antsairplanes.com Never heard of this dev before. Disregarding the rain, how do they fly(thinking realism and full working VC)? They look a little "cheap" but I've been wrong about these things before:-) Ryzen 7 9800X3D || MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC 32GB || G.Skill TridentZ 32GB@6000CL32 || Asus ROG Strix B650E Kingston Fury 4TB M.2 NVMe || Phanteks Glacier One 360 T30 v2 || Phanteks NV5 || BeQuiet Straight Power 1200W LG C4 42'' 4k@144hz || Oculus Quest 3 || Turtle Beach Velocity One

Ant does have demos of all the planes on his site which you can try.
April 28, 201313 yr The end user should be given the option to turn the effect on and turn something else off if having the effect oversteps the FSX animation limit. Doesn't this then give us all a choice? Having the effect adds to the immersion for those of us who live where is seems to constantly rain. It's a shame that some developers don't see it as important. I prefer sunshine but hey, you can't have everything!

It's a shame that some developers don't see it as important. I prefer sunshine but hey, you can't have everything! Couldn't agree more:-) Living in Bergen, one of Norways wettest places, rain is very importent to me, and when using real weather, rain is more frequent than the sun is. That is why I anticipate the Enigma 737-400/400/500 so much! Due to recent posts I didn't buy the iFly 737, so a tubeliner with VC-rain is the one thing I really miss. Did however buy the L39 and what an excellent plane! Simple, fast, different, fun and great VC-rain! I only have the Sierra and find it good value. These are not fast planes of course but are light and fun. Ant does have demos of all the planes on his site which you can try. Thanks! I'll give them a closer look:-) can you update first post in order to make a database about rain effect vc's? Uhhmm...if I could only find the edit button, I would, but must be semi-blind. Is there such a button...? April 29, 201313 yr Is there such a button...? I've had that question too, some time ago. There's a time limit, and after that time (can't remember how much it is) you can't edit your post anymore. Florian
