May 15, 201313 yr I use the iPad version and it works quite good though the charts are not always the latest versions. But if only flying in the States, why not just use sites like skyvector.com and airnav.com? Together they pretty much have all the charts you'll need. May 15, 201313 yr I also have the Ipad version. As Fwerff stated the charts are outdated and by outdated I mean 10+ years is quite common. Some airports are also missing many charts TNCM comes to mind. As I follow real world procedures with the latest Navdata a 10 year old SID chart isn't of much use to me. I originally purchased it as a alternative to printing Navigraph charts after I changed my Navdata subscription to Aerosoft. Now I have gone back using free up to date online services (US and AU) and Navigraph elsewhere. here are a couple of good sites for procedure charts http://www.airnav.com (US) http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/aip.asp (AU) http://www.eurocontrol.int/ (EU) http://www.aip.net.nz (NZ) Airnav and Airservices Australia are excellent both download well into dropbox for ipad viewing. The other two aren't as user friendly. Jason Carruthers
May 15, 201313 yr You may want to get the Aivlasoft EFB software instead. The charts are generated based on Navigraph data. It does not have everything, but complete and up to date enough. Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
May 15, 201313 yr Not sure if it is available for the iPad, but for the Android devices I use Approach Charts by BBFlight LLC. It has strictly U.S. Charts but it is updated reguarly. R Goodson
May 15, 201313 yr Author Not sure if it is available for the iPad, but for the Android devices I use Approach Charts by BBFlight LLC. It has strictly U.S. Charts but it is updated reguarly. Im getting Andriod in the next few weeks so i will check this one out. Im defiantly steering away from sim plates though You may want to get the Aivlasoft EFB software instead. The charts are generated based on Navigraph data. It does not have everything, but complete and up to date enough. I have this already and never use it ,so thanks for the heads up! ZORAN
May 15, 201313 yr Not sure why anyone wants to pay for these, when there are websites that have them for free just about anywhere in the world. And these sites keep their charts up to date. USA: http://www.airnav.com/airports/ UK: http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/index.php%3Foption=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=6&Itemid=13.html Europe: http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/publicuser/public/pu/login.jsp These serve my needs, and if you search I imagine that you can find similar sites for airports in the rest of the world.
