May 20, 201313 yr Commercial Member It was based on what some actual pilots outside of what the developers say.I'm sure you could find some other pilots saying exactly the opposite. Personally I never quite found the flight dynamics of Ifly 737 to be anything special compared to 737NGX, it just somehow has more alive feeling.
May 20, 201313 yr I have only used the iFly 737 in FS9 and loved that model. Although the PMDG, from my understanding, has more systems modelled. It really comes down to personal preference as both add-ons are high quality, and both will fly RNP approaches as well as 'virtual precision approaches' where the FMS calculates a glidepath for a non-precision approach (I forget what those approaches are called in the Boeing world). One thing to keep in mind, if you ever plan a move to P3D you cannot legally use the PMDG 737 period, and you'll have to purchase a separate P3D iFly model for $80. Just FYI. Flight dynamics are always debatable as every plane maker has some real world pilot who swears by their model. Marketing 101.

July 14, 201312 yr The question could have been posed like this: "Looking for an aircraft for FSX , what's the best, payware or freeware?" And the answer would still have been PMDG NGX  Maybe not for long though
