Easy. If you want to blow your money and buy a substandard product that comes with lackluster (approaching nonexistent) support, Ariane is the only way to go.

Otherwise, PMDG NGX.

Tough choice.

Easy hands down PMDG NGX....! You will not regret that investment...!

You guys have really been helpful. Looks like I 'm going with PMDG  NGX!

Good choice.

The NGX is incredible, especially if you have an eye for detail. It's the small things in the systems simulation and the sounds that impress me every time.

PMDG for sure...and if a classic you want, lets see MILVIZ -200 when it comes out.

PMDG 737NGX + 600/700 Expansion

PMDG 737 NGX hands down, there is nothing better.

I have FSX and went for the iFly after seeing what some real world 737 NG drivers thought of it and said they nailed it spot on with same saying the NGX wasn't quite on the money.

That's always a debatable subject when it comes to what one developer says about real 737 pilots testing it and how difference versions compare. As we all know, PMDG has plenty of real world 737 pilots that tested it, plus direct contacts with Boeing to get the most accurate data, and a Dr. Vaos, Ph.D who is a specialist in his field of flight dynamics.and the modeling of them in the sim. Not to say that the iFly guys didn't do some home work on this stuff, but with PMDG contacts and staff, I would bet that if you really want a "study sim" that is as accurate as possible for a $50 desktop sim, PMDG would be the way to go.

Along with FAR better value for money with every model including the BBJ series,

True, you get more models for the money since you have to buy the 600/700 as an addon and the BBJ series has yet to be completed.

And one or two supprises that nobody else has modelled or featured....;)

What are those, besides the circuit breaker panel that one would rarely ever use?

You could also say that about the stuff that PMDG modeled both visually and externally that iFly didn't do, like the 3d lights on the exterior, better interior lighting in the VC on the PMDG, internal load, equipment, feature editor that is used in sim so that you dont need to exit FSX, change models and features and reload, collimated HGS, maintenance based failures.

Not saying that iFly didn't do a good job or offers a good value for the money, but imho, the PMDG 737 is a much better overall package, albeit a little more expensive if you buy the 600/700 models in addition to the base pack. The NGX will get better after they finish the 777 and do the next SP for the NGX which will introduce some of their latest tech from the 777 into the NGX from what Ryan  or Robert mentioned.

Jetsmell, Just a thought, if you were ever thinking of adding any hardware to your setup, like an MCP or CDU, to save on mousework, iFly is the better of the 2 with VRinsight's harware. Ifly gave the SDK to VRi sometime ago, and iFly software integrates extremely well with  VRi hardware.

I run iFly with a VRi MCP, CDU, and an overhead panel, which add considerably to the level of realism. PMDG can also work with VRi's hardware, but not as easily, and not so completely.

Vri MCP also adds a lot of functionality to all FSX default and payware aircraft, with a reasonable footprint, and works especially well with the iFly 737.

Eugene

iFly has a better value for money as you get the same systems fidelity (I also confirmed it with rw 737ng pilots) with all the variants out of the box....plus they have a version for those running a home cockpit as well.

Given I have to practice emergency procedures every six months in real life, lack of failure simulation isn't a deal breaker for me either (Fs = fun time). Also a plus the iFly has a full set of 2d panels if you're running a multi monitor setup.
