Has it been confirmed that it should take less ressources than the NGX ?

 

The flight deck is also a lot "cleaner" vertex-wise.  As a result of its very design, the simulated version will requires fewer system resources to render the VC.

If I'm not mistaken, Rob said they had to develop quite a few new things to get certain functions working. I bet it's taking or took some hard labor to get all the non-normal checklists linked up along with the EICAS messages. The longer we wait, the more perfect she'll be out the factory - if it's Christmas, doesn't matter! Way worth the wait.
