No problem. Although as Olli and Rob touched upon; it does appear your 'issues' are just subjective things that you want from the product, rather than any real failings; eg...... I may want a fully animated flight attendant with an addon, that serves me regular coffee and tells me that my hair looks cool today; and the fact that an add-on doesn't have that, doesn't mean it's any type of failing. :P

But if things like the right MCDU being used for all the immersion systems etc bothers you; then I agree this amazing plane is not for you. I'm sure that 99.99% of commercial flights are successfully executed using just the 1 MCDU, and thus Aerosoft used the right MCDU to configure all the options and extras... it prevented long-winded drop down menus and external configurators being needed....... I think it's an amazing features, but if that in itself puts you off, then you're almost certainly correct that this add-on isn't for you.

PS.. As Rob (FLEX) pointed out, the T/O roll has bee proven to be realistic, for the settings (Flex, flaps, etc) used. Not understanding the airbus philosophy and/or not setting the bord up correctly can certainly lead to some long rolls though! (I know; I made those mistakes at the start!).

Looking forward to that voice pack replacement, Dave!   biggrin.png

I'm afraid the F/O in that pack is nowhere near as complimentary, as my dream FA!

Guy's,

What happens when you take off and you have both VOR's manually tuned for your departure SID? Do you still see RWY guidance on your primary flight display? RWY guidance comes from the Localizer signal.

Impressive:

- If 'ILS' receiver 'blocked' manually: NO lateral T/O guidance

- If receiver left to 'auto': ILS of the DEP RWY autotuned and RWY guidance appears

Thanks, that's what I thought would happen. I wonder why they didn't add a separate ILS receiver? I guess since no one else has brought up the RWY issue nobody is backing up there departures with Raw VOR data.

Cheers

Pretty sure two ADF receivers are default

Something to consider is maybe the Simcheck A300B4-200, especially as it looks like an FMC will be added this August.

A300B4 and AXE are best.

Nuff said.

Extreme mentality does not work well. But anyhow, its personal preference, so enjoy :D...
