July 18, 201312 yr I'm connected, but is there issues with going online also? or just the forums? - with not being able to get onto the forums, I cannot see if anyone is online. http://stats.vatsim.net/who.html Works fine here. July 18, 201312 yr Hey kevin, Just found out SB4 should not be started within fsx, that may have been an issue for me - I was also getting a lot of tearing also, which isn't there when offline. I will retry tomorrow starting SB from start menu Paul Westcott

July 18, 201312 yr Commercial Member I thought that sites had a way of storing passwords that meant that they couldn't be easily accessed in reverse, hashing and salting I think it's called? Works easily one way but not the other... Regards, Ró. It is trivial to determine since the vast majority of VATSIM passwords are six characters long, all digits. If you are a VATSIM member, you should probably assume that your password has been compromised. Luke Luke Kolin I make simFDR, the most advanced flight data recorder for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane.
July 18, 201312 yr When I tried to log in to Vatsim forum via Tapatalk I got the message; "We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forgive. Do not forget us.". What a bunch of sorry ... Good for nothing hacker can't even get his own tagline right... Elijah HoytCFI, CFII, CMEL, CSEL, CSES, IFR
July 22, 201312 yr It looks like the Ubuntu forums were hacked recently also, along with the Apple developer site. Coincidence? i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
July 22, 201312 yr Vatsim as a warm up maybe? I don't know, a banned member seems plausible I highly doubt a former member of a flight sim community did it... (After all, we don't know our ways with computers, do we? ) It seems like it's a chain of hacks that is going on right now. Except for Apple, they're targeting small communities. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB

Ha, I see what you mean yeah..still the Ubuntu community would be bigger then the vatsim community, maybe not. Any news on how Vatsim is doing? You'd think they'd say something on vatsim.net but they haven't yet.
