August 18, 201312 yr Certainly the 777 isn't the first FS2Crew aircraft that partakes in real world cargo ops, but it does seem that cargo ops will be a large of some peoples T7 experience. Are there any thoughts about including this a bit in FS2Crew. Perhaps people more knowledgeable than myself could fill in on further details, but it seems like the only thing needing a change would be the prompt about "can we start boarding?". We can already turn the volume for cabin announcements to zero and select no for gate arrival/departure. So I think the only other trace of passenger ops is the boarding prompt, which perhaps could be left out if we checked a box saying "cargo ops". Just a thought. Of course, it's easy enough to ignore the boarding prompt, but we're working for "as real as it gets", right? Eric Szczesniak

August 25, 201312 yr +1 for the cargo ops. But we'll also get the emergency extension, won't we? What happened to AVSIM
August 27, 201312 yr How would cargo ops work? Just as normal, without the cabin announcements? (Haven't really flown cargo operations) Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471

October 2, 201312 yr Bryan developed an excellent cargo version for the PMDG MD11, so I'm sure he will be able to deliver something similar for the 777. October 5, 201312 yr Well instead of interacting with a F/A you could simulate a Load-master. In a typical cargo operation the Load-master will be responsible for the load sheet. So usually they will have to ask the flight crew for the block and trip fuel. A couple of minutes before departure he will bring the load sheet and NOTOC to the flight deck for the captain to sign. He will then notify the captain when loading has been completed and will ask permission to close the L1 door. It would be pretty nice if something like this could be simulated as it would definitely add some realism to cargo flights. Basten Heidema
