August 23, 201312 yr Possibly this may have already been requested, but is there the consideration being given to adding the "Time Compression" algorithm planned for the PMDG 777 to be added to the PMDG 737 NGX? Since it is possible to fly a 737 a long distance, this would be a nice enhancement to the NGX? August 23, 201312 yr Was wondering this too... would be a nice feature indeed! The Ground Service feature would be added to the NGX with SP2... perhaps the Time Compression could be added aswell? Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471
August 23, 201312 yr It's being considered for SP2. And no, there is no anticipated date of when SP2 will arrive.

August 23, 201312 yr Really? Do you have a source for that info? (have I missed something somewhere...) ^_^ I remember seeing a member of PMDG comment on that when it was announced into the 777. I don't have the quote off-hand, though.

August 28, 201312 yr I remember it being considered for SP2 too. Shouldn't be that hard to find with the search function, since it's probably Tabs who said it. Name available upon request
August 28, 201312 yr Its not a bad idea, though there are a unlimited 1-2 hour routes being flown world wide I cant see a big demand for compression but I wouldn't knock it back for the odd 6 hr flight ZORAN
January 14, 201412 yr SP1 and the SDK seem to be the more urgent things to do (that's for the B777 B)). What happened to AVSIM
January 14, 201412 yr Standard FSX time compression works pretty decent with my NGX, at least up to 4x. Never had any crash or oddity here. Personally, I don't need the auto step climb in the NGX due to the limited leg length, and the pause on TOD feature is already there. And yes, I'm also waiting for the 777 SP1. Dave P. Woycek
January 14, 201412 yr It'll be nice but not that big of a deal to me. The 737 trip lengths aren't that long to where Auto-Cruise is required when the normal FSX time compression will work just fine for those short trips. I think the 777 SP1 is more important at the moment.
January 14, 201412 yr I had the ngx disable time compression hen unstable, and then put it on again I was surprised to see it, as it shouldn't be included yet? I mean it's not like I can enable it like we do on the triple, but I saw the NGx disable time compression and enable it again Anyone else saw this?

FSX comes with Time Compression, from which you can enable in the FSX menu (for any airplane). The NGX doesn't have Auto-Cruise, which is the time compression feature in the T7.

Then again, which made me monitor the flight and yet again it happened and I dif. Saw it.. If you can't elaborate please don't just repeat common knowledge
