August 23, 201312 yr Just got an email saying it is 40% off this weekend, so just a heads up for those who are not on the X-Aviation mailing list. Apparently it's been reduced from $34.95 to $19.95, but when I window-shopped there the other day I could have sworn it was only at $29.95! An excellent model by all accounts if not my cup of tea. My pennies are being saved for the PMDG T7 and maybe the FF 757 when they appear.

We notified customers a while back that after 1.5 went out it would be increased to 34.95, so this is a follow through with that word. It will indeed be raised at the end of the weekend as is shown on the site. Now would be an excellent time to get this product at 40% (actually a little more) off if you've been eyeing it! Wonder if it will replace the Jetstream as my round the world twin prop of choice... I love the JS32 as well, but they feel inherently different. The Moo feels sporty and luxurious, whereas the JS32 is more of a bus .. very much a pragmatic utility plane. They're both good IMO .. it's just that the Moo has that indefinable bit of something 'extra' ... the CRJ-200 is pretty good too just quietly. I hope both all three of these aircraft are continuously developed and upgraded long into X-Plane's future.

August 24, 201312 yr Wow, what a great little plane! It's going to take a bit of getting used to the amazing torque and super-sensitive trim (especially after the J32's 'in no hurry to make any changes trim') but very smooth for the power, jet-like climb rates, great visibility etc. I can imagine a lot of pilots really enjoy flying it. Some of the textures could do with some work (rivets, fuses etc. still 2D, no rain effects) and a pilot in the cockpit from external views would be nice, but generally this is a good deal at full price.
