737-200 Milviz vs Captain Sim

Featured Replies

I have the Justflight 737-200 Professional, but am suffering from a lack of repaints, I would like to know what people think about the Captain Sim and Milviz versions. Which is more realistic to fly etc, etc.

Looking forward to hearing what people think.

Cheers,

Sorry about that, kept getting an error message that it couldn't post my topic and to try later...

I always heard that Captain Sim has some of the most beautiful models out there, and also they manage steam gauge aircraft pretty well. I do hear though that the FDE of CS needs tweaking, but there are community members that have a fix for that.

As for the Milviz, I am also hearing mixed reports about the way it flies. From what I see though she looks just as good as the CS model.

I think the CS VC has more realistic dimensions. I have it. It flies good. It's a lot of work flying it with such a simple AP. does anyone know if you can merge the MViz with the CS VC?

Sometimes we try to be diplomatic, but other times the truth is so obvious, we just have to cut to the chase;

The Just Flight (BBS) 737-200 and Captain Sim 737-200 are both awful.   (for different reasons.... but awful).

The MilViz 737-200 is a huge step up, and far better all round plane in every way  -  get it.

If you're even slightly happy with the Just Flight 737-200, you will LOVE the MilViz 737 !!!

I agree with Dave, Milviz is doing awesome jobe on it & continue dev on it...

not the cas of the two other outsiders

Thank you everyone, sounds like I've made my mind up definitely for the Milviz. I just hope that the repaints really take off :)

We're looking at doing a livery pack.

Thanks for the vote(s) of confidence. It's appreciated.

I have the Milviz 732 and the Captain Sim 707, 727, C130 & B52 which I picked up in the recent sale. In terms of finished product Milviz hands down, the others are good for < 10 euros but still have some silly bugs which should have been fixed long ago.

You'll love the Milviz 737-200, great aircraft from a great developer.

PS: Livery pack!!! Take my money goddamit!!!

Is there, or will there be a Milviz Freighter version available? Nevermind, I see it's a Combo. Believe Ill just keep flying the CS 737F with the RXP GNS unitil perhaps later. I have no issues with it.

I just bought the Milviz 737 and I am very dissapointed!

I hope this is not yet the finished project because there are so many things not working or not working correctly (pressurisation, autopilot, electrics, caution light, ...).
I wish I bought this at a later state and sure hope they will get to an acceptable final product.

A livery pack would be very nice!  It seems this bird is pretty hard to paint.  It is definitely the best 732 out there in my opinion and soon everything that is wrong with it (which is not much) will be fixed.

There are some hotfixes already and patches coming, if you have DX11 card you'll get some nice night lighting too with an add on, it's all in this thread.
