PMDG 777-222 Liveries

Featured Replies

Can someone tell me where to  find these free liveries for the 777-200 as mentioned on the website. Thanks all!

PMDG Operations Center, it was part of the install.  Look in your start menu under PMDG.

PMDG Operations Center.

Start menu > PMDG Simulations > PMDG Operations Center. If you need help figuring things out after you open up Ops, check the intro manual, there's a bunch of information in there.

Dont know what you are talking about all I recieved is the exe.file for the aircraft

If a re install is necessary will installed liveries be deleted?

Aftter you install the 777.  Part of the 777 package is the Ops Center.  Reinstalling with liveries downloaded is no big deal.  Reinstall, run ops center, and it should give you an option to repair the liveries you had.

No, there's a sophisticated automatic backup thing built in, it should restore them automatically.

Does the Ops Center support third party liveries or only official ones from PMDG?

Nope - it'll either ask if you want to resolve the issue (re-link to them in the Aircraft.cfg), or delete the orphaned folders.

EDIT: Ryan beat me to it - it's really a magical piece of work that makes all of this so much simpler!

Sounds neat.  It'd be great if this were retro-actively applied to other recent products (NGX, MD-11, J4100).

Have you checked the NGX function in the Ops Center yet?

...the JS4100 will be added after things calm down, too.
