On the ramp at an unusually quiet LHR, awaiting an early morning departure to Istanbul

 

Hey Chris, wound up making my own font...need to tighten it up a bit, its one of the more tricky things we painters do. You learn all about Leading and Kerning and all sorts of font thingies (that's the technical term). :lol:

Brilliant Jaydor!  A really quick way to make it thicker...line size of 32 was just about right. 

 

The current location of my Titan (or is it Pinlifters?) 777F is somewhere over the PNW, trying to dry the paint!

Let me know a few things Chris:

1. Size and position of TITAN.  I think a bit bigger?  I was using the guides of how it looks on the 767...using the door frame as a reference.

2. Size and position of the reg and  Boeing 777F text....Looking at Atlas Air as an example, I should put them in the green area,in white, with an American flag as well...agree?

 

 

Working on a fictional repaint is both easy and difficult...no reference photos to help, but then again nobody can complain that the location of a decal is 2 pixels off, and the RGB value is 223, 213, 142 and not 223, 213, 215.  :Silly:

Still have a lot of work to do on the tail....obviously.  I wish you could just lay a vector triangle on it and be done...but we paint in 2D that gets wrapped around a 3D model...Painting would be easy if it were 2D to 2D.

Funny you should mention the nose gear door....already had the number there...just need to make the ETOPS larger and adjust the number.

The reg and Boeing text are just about there.  Need to move the GT closer and more the Boeing forward.

Do you prefer 777-F or 777-Freighter?

Just flew KE704 out of Tokyo's NRT airport to ICN, took about two hours.
