Sitting on a remote stand at EGCC. Purely because I reinstalled the 747 and MD-11 - CANNOT leave them alone! Still absolutely beautiful aircraft to fly!

Nice shots Kevin.  With all the thunderboomers around Dayton today, I figured you'd have some wicked lightning shots B)   Weather radar would have been very handy a few hours ago.

Hi, Chris,

Thanks for the kind words.

Yep, it looked really BAD, but most of the bad wx went north and east of us, we didn't even get rain.  Just the gust front as the storms passed over us and then green darkness.

I was actually at the saltwater fish shop getting A fish (read that as one) as the storms passed by after we got a virus in the tank that killed every last fish about a month ago .  Trying to catch up after 3 weeks on the road and on the road again next week.

I would've liked to have done a KDAY departure to the east just to test that new wx radar out.

I did get a second-hand MCP and EFIS from Cockpitbuilders to go with my FDS CDU.  Can't wait to get that going!

Cheers,

Kev
