Thanks William....hope you're having a great 4th!  If you read in tomorrow's papers about any M-80 accidents in Alaska, I want you to know I'm totally innocent

OMG Stunning pics all of you!

I'm really warming up to the Tampa livery...and I have another "Florida" cargo hauler queued up in the paintshop.  Ok...maybe "retired painter" is not completely valid, but I'm just a paint enthusiast instead. LoL.  I'm going to paint the ones I want to fly, and share them with my fellow simmers.

Your Titan shots are brilliant....very nice place to fly her!  Alaska!

I'm instituting ANOTHER incentive program called the  "Wear and Tear" program.  This is how it will work:

  1. You post pics of yourself flying my livery around the world.
  2. Once I see you taking her to a few interesting places, I'll send you "wear&tear" textures to either replace or recreate a new version of the paint (in case you want to simulate you putting her back in the paintshop/on the wash rack)
  3. If I don't send them to you after you feel you've flown her enough... send me an email.  (I may have somehow missed your posts here)
  4. Give me a few days to get all my paints "Dirtied up"...but Chis you'll be getting a dirty Titan soon.

Bottom line, I want to encourage you guys to post pics of your flights on my paints, and give you even more variety/realism to your flightsimming experience.  It should be fun and a good addition to my "Check Airman" program.  :Big Grin:

Steve Dra

Count me in Steve!  A little weathering never hurt a guy

Speaking of weather, I'm gearing up a 777 for a hurricane typhoon hunter mission in the next 36-48 hours (the big Titan may get called Steve).  There's a super typhoon in the Western Pacific now bearing down on Okinawa and this thing is a monster!  Okinawa is in the bullseye Monday with max wind gusts of 205mph projected at this time.  It looks to rival Typhoon Haiyan last summer which hit the Philippines.  Fortunately in Okinawa Prefecture, all the buildings are concrete and for good reason.  Also air and water temperatures are unusually high for Southern Japan this year which means more fuel for the typhoon's fire.  Sorry, no C-130's for this guy

Here's a couple of snaps....my guess is OPUS won't depict the eye, but rather a big glob of clouds.

Loving all the pics here!

However there is a feature the 777 brings along that is underrated and many look towards unfavorably. It is fictional, but I believe it is powerful - which is (only) the PMDG 777's ability to pick your own cockpit colors. Some say that it ruins the experience/ simulation / "realness" of the 777.

Honestly in my opinion I like this feature if it's used right. I've posted a picture along to show what it can do -
