Beautiful shot Jeremy!  Congrats on jointing VDFX!  I hope an external shot would show a nice pic of your trusty steed!    Are you flying a particular paint?

Yeah flying cargo is pretty satisfying I think...and add to the fact they fly alot around sunrise and sunset...makes for great pics!  No wonder I'm on a cargo livery rampage in my paintshop. :LMAO:

Ooh, I forgot all about that one livery. I'll get that installed after I land!

Thanks!

These are for you, Steve! Tombstones were my only cargo today, heavy and quite unprofitable!

I played with some effects on this one, hope you like it! Also, please tell me what I can do that looks good in terms of editing on Photobucket, I'm really interested in getting shots as good as Steve's and pinlifter's.

Descent into Anchorage (Also, 100% satisfaction on VA Financials woohoo!)

Here is my edited sunrise shot, I hope you guys like it! Let me know what I can do to improve, I'd love to know!

Haha, this is great. I used to like a lot Eric's aircrafts in my FS9 days. I was still discovering the world of flight simming and his models / your repaints surely made my days happier back then.

Man, that's so many repaints... my God... haha.

I'm glad that you are using my mod! Well, I guess you know the feel -- when we see someone else using something we created.

Hey Gabriel, that was my goal....to make simmers happy, give back to the community I've been involved in for so long.  In fact I can't believe I've been involved in aviation for 33 years now, starting out in the Navy.

As it applies to most here...aviation is a passion that we are drawn to.  We are so incredibly lucky to have simulation programs that let us explore whatever facet of aviation we want to dive into.  We happen to like flying large commercial aircraft, while other's love low and slow with a good Cessna, Piper or Beech.  I never get involved in the spats where some want to claim which is better, I'm under the thought that I've never met a plane I don't like.  :P

Now, when it comes to how some airlines paint their planes...that's a different story! LoL

Looking good Jermey!  No tips to give other than play with the effects and see what you come up with...Well one tip is to crop to display more of the aircraft and less sky unless that is your intent.  Cropping brings the plane closer and allows more detail to be displayed.

As far as in-simulation tips...I wrote up a rather lengthy explanation on how to modify some config settings to make the built-in cameras work with you to get amazing shots like this:

(Even though I'm above 10,000 feet, I left the logo light on because I like this tail, hehe.  Reminds me of a seagull)
