Where Is Your 777 Now?

Featured Replies

Where is my 777? Low and slow of the Puget Sound in Seattle...what am I doing?

Asking a check airman to leave the UPS airframe as he violated the terms of the agreement.

This guy brought his parachute!  hey, you can see I was going as slow as I could (but was not going to drop flaps to slow down further.  :LMAO:  (Don't worry, he missed the tail...the aerodynamic forces seemed to keep him close to the fuselage...good thing..that big GE looked hungry!)  In the passenger model I let them exit from the rear door.  I tried the cargo door on the freighter once...ripped it off as soon as it got some air under it!  Went spinning down like a Frisbee, LoL.

2nd Check airman "checking" in with more shots of the fabulous airframe I have come to like so much. Haven't been back to "base" with my VA as I've been touring the world, so what better aircraft to return home in other than "The Tiger", a few shots of her graceful approach and landing and unloading in the Karachi Sunset. Enjoy. These are for you Steve ;)..

I used Nvidia Inspector to fix up my Antialiasing settings to 32x. I think it looks much better. I'll hope you agree!  ^_^

Juan...they look great...especially that last head on shot!  I seriously want that as my desktop background but can't grab it off this site correctly...Can you send me the full blown screen of that?  I love the sun glint off the port side, the wing flex, those massive GEs...STUNNING pic!

Hey Mr. James....your shot never cease to impress!  Bravo!

Hey Imran, beautiful set!  I will ask my check airmen at this time if they see any glaring issues with the "Tiger."  Following a favorable outcome of your reports, I will release her to the public and hopefully (based on the Library posting speed) the rest of you will get to enjoy her this weekend!

As fate would have it, I actually visited Karachi many years ago when I was in the Navy...amazing how things like that come full circle and connect us somehow.

P.S.

I hope you had your Tiger stuffed full of freight for the trip to Karachi....If its one thing freighters hate its to fly around with anything less than MTOW full of payload and fuel at departure.  :Big Grin:

Great pics Chris!  I'm "Green" with envy that I can't fly as much as I'd like to at the moment. :Just Kidding:

Hmmm....the Marshall Islands huh?  Would have your destination been influenced by comments a certain painter made in these forums, or is that another freak coincidence?

I love shot #4...it really shows how they squeezed the runway onto the thin island.

Also, as noted above as I asked Irman, please, if you haven't already, do at least one more walk around of the Tiger and see if she ready for the general public.

Steve Dra

Just a freaky coincidence...I'm a big Pac Island Sim fan and just so happened the origination and destination airports were PIS creations.

Give me 2-4 months (hopefully its ready) Steve and you'll see me flying a lot of freight in and out of Nagasaki, the next airport on their list.  Just landed in Reykjavik arriving from Vienna....may post some pix of the BIG GREEN TITAN!

Hehe not a problem Jeremy!  Us freight dogs have pretty much dominated this thread recently...I'll take responsibility.  To that end I hereby announce I am going to completely stop painting. :P

Hey Chris....I am too...just need to haul some supplies out the the islands.  Of course one day I'll have to get that scenery...just not in the budget at the moment.

I didn't think it was that good! Like I said earlier, I'll try to recreate it. Should be an interesting challenge!

And Steve, I'd like to say you're really the first person that cares about your livery developments; and that's important.
