Where Is Your 777 Now?

GTI121 taxis eastward towards the morning sun in Manila.  She'll soon reach FL360 on her way to a much colder Аэропорт Елизово (UHPP Yelizovo) nearly 3000NM away

How do you pick these crazy destinations? And is Titan Airways an actual Atlas Air subsidiary or is it fictional?

Good ol' Google Earth Jeremy   That's the great thing about flying freighters is cargo is needed everywhere!  I usually aim to either takeoff or land at a payware airport for a little better looking eye candy on one end, so that plays into it as well.  Who knows, tomorrow it may be an FHAW-VRMM freighter mission B)

Titan Air is an actual subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holding (AAWW) which owns Atlas Air and Polar Air.  Being an Air Force guy I'm kinda partial to hauling freight.

That's fun! I couldn't find a wiki page for Titan Aviation so I assumed it wasn't real!  :P

I got someone to paint me some planes a while back, JC Air Charters is my airline I suppose, based in Phoenix! I just fly wherever I am in the mood. I'll have to try your method and just browse Google Earth until something catches my eye.

The person that painted my planes doesn't come around here much so I'm not sure what I'll do when the -300ER comes out!

I'd "like" all these amazing screenshots, but unfortunately someone decided we couldn't have a "like" button here anymore. Great shots everyone!

I agree Daniel.  Not having the like, agree, etc options kind of knocks the wind out of the sail a bit.  I think all the bogus disagreeing and disliking led to a boiling point, so Tom removed it.  I had been away for a couple weeks on vacation and when I returned the rating system was gone.

I'd even settle for the system prior to the one that was removed where you could like something and nothing else.  It's what the Aerosoft forums have and what was on AVSIM when I first joined.  Kind of like the saying if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything at all.  I was bummed when it was removed, sort of started liking the newer rating system and now we're down to nothing at all :(

I pretty much ignored it but it was here after I came back to flightism after a break (I've had a few breaks as long as I've been doing this hehe)

Initially I didn't see the point, but then like you said started to see the value in it to just add a quick, "nice screenshot", "I agree with you 100%" or "Great post".  Yes you could argue the rationale that it was making the forums too automatic and people were tuning out of the conversations.  But there is equal validity to the point that it let most folks who don't have a lot of time to type a response (I know...as quick as it may seem) just chime in and give credit to someone who took the time to post something interesting that they liked.

Either way its gone now and not likely to come back, so nothing we can do about it (but I do like your solution  :Just Kidding:...you should make it an animated gif file hehe. )

I only received "likes" for my posts...probaby a fringe benefit of being a painter.  :LMAO:

Flex galore...hey where's the palm trees

Stunning set Chris!

No palm trees at that destination, but you should plan your next trip with her to a sunny destination!  DFW is quite sunny today...I'd love too see that "Jolly Green Giant" flying over my apartment if you're landing south and on the Cedar Creek Seven approach.

Love that you included Phoenix! Cargo definitely seems an efficient way to go - anywhere!

Great shots Chris!  OK...how did you not have your camera sucked into the engine on shot 3?  :Hypnotized:

So are you likin' the giant with the photo tail?

Daniel...lovely pic of ACA!  At first I really disliked the breath mint paint scheme....but its grown on me over the years and now I really like it.  Very easy to spot in the air or on the ramp.

Hmmmm, calmly awaiting a X-Plane 10 version of it....  I can wait for years! after all, that's what I've been doing with PSX :)

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I just noticed you're a Phoenix guy Jeremy.  Heck, if I'd had known I would have given you a tour of the plane before I took off   On shot 3 Steve, I decided to shut down the engine before venturing outside the plane to grab a snap.  I'd hate to have my camera damaged B)
