Yes i did that yesterday and it was almost the same i had after reinstall about 7 fps in the NGX but 2 in the T7.

So now i am doing some checks as previous posters have said but still no joy.

Well I'm no expert, but if you are only getting 7fps with your NGX, I think you can eliminate the T7 as the culprit.

I have almost the same exact setup as you, except I have only 8gb ram and a GeForce 670 with 4gb ram, and I run my CPU at 5.0ghz. Have you tried using NickN's PC setup guide? With sliders at midway, and a stock 4.5 LOD you should definitely be able to run the 777 smoothly at stock airports. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link to NickN's FSX bible without getting banned, so just google it. It's written so clear a child could follow it. Give that a try.

 

What I've found is slightly worse performance over my NGX with the mouse cursor off screen, and quite a bit worse compared to the NGX when the mouse cursor is on the screen, but I run all my performance sliders maxed to the right except water which is set at Low 2x, and I run an LOD of 6.5.

 

 

Tested this to the letter and no joy its still only around 3 fps something is very wrong here nothing i dont gain any frames i want to throw this piece of garbage computer in the ocean and hope the fish has a nice home :angry:

I had enough of this now if someone would be able to spend a few hours with my computer i would gladly let him do so.

I have no clue at all what im supposed to do with all the numbers and all i know i put it somewhere but thats all.

I have a similar issue, the NGX works fine but the 777 just won't perform at a level where I can fly it. I know there are more users with this issue (albeit a small group) but so far I don't know what the common factor is.

 

I would say it's because we're both Swedish but someone else with this issue is English so that can't be it

Its when I started reading and doing lots of research I came to realize there has to be a compromise somewhere. Move all your sliders to the left and tweak your setup and see what works.

 

I use to use a max texture load of 2048, but because I was always testing new tweaks it would get reset back to 1024. Now I dont change it and the 777 is still just as beautiful inside and out.

If you did a fresh install FSX defaults to ultra high settings. Take screen shots of all the tabs in you settings and post them

Ofcourse it defaults to high settings but i turn them down to where i was using it with the NGX and i had 25-30 fps with that plane and i was happy with that now im down to a maximum of 3.5-4 fps.

Ive tried alot of tweaks outside and inside of FSX and the T7 but theres no response to anything im doing.

I wont sit up here all night long because of some screenshots i can post the settings here if u want together with my CFG file.

These settings and a couple of other tweaks from Venetubo is what i used on the NGX with a ton of addons both scenery and airplanes and i was running between 25-30 fps.

Screenshots are easier to decode and recommend settings. Your computer is more powerful than mine and I'm getting very good performance with all my scenery so something else is at play on your system

GET RID OF AIRLINE DENSITY 68. Water 6. All other traffic to 10. Try and let us know.

In this case, I don't buy it.

Take a look at my specs. I've got the same card as the op's except mine is only 1.5g, I've got the same CPU except I'm only clocked at 4.4g and I have 8g ram. Take a look at the set up in the 777 Introduction PDF and except for my Scenery complexity being at very dense (one notch down from recommended), my settings are identical.

 

Taking that into account, why am I locked in Inspector at 30 FPS and getting 30FPS in the NGX and the 777X except for momentary dips to 23-25 if I happen to look a certain way or come across a concentration of AI at one of my high end addon airports. 

 

You can wack every slider to the right in FSX and with a rig like the op's, there is no way you should be getting as low as 7FPS.

This is obviously not something very many people are experiencing. We have a lot of copies of this in circulation now and this is not an issue that is coming up in tickets.

 

I would honestly suggest formatting or something like that - you have something very system specific and weird going on here.
