Have you read the introduction manual?

Regards,

i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.

Have you read the introduction manual?

+1

OOM's are caused by FSX's own limitations as it is a 32bit application.

To find out more details and also find out what You can do to at least prevent or minimize OOM's, please read the introduction manual as mentioned above!

Cheers, Christoph

Enjoy flying and happy landings.

Yep i have read the manual, it is only on the pmdg 777, (cruise-approach)

Pls. search the forum for similar issues before opening the umpteenth identical topic. And pls. read the T7 intro doc before even starting your search.

It's all there, right at your fingertips ...

In that case, the T7 must be your very first high-res complex addon airplane - pls. read the relevant pages of the intro doc again ...

if i change the settings on virtual memory which settings must be changed?

if i change the settings on virtual memory which settings must be changed?

Just leave them system-managed as per the PMDG recommendations.

Virtual Memory and Virtual Address Space are two different things - but they are easy to mix up, admittingly.

For the 4GB VAS Limitation you will have to check your graphics settings and lower a few of them. Best thing is to save your current settings in one profile and start a second profile for your new ones. Things to check and correct are (pls. refer to the intro doc for more suggestions):

- AI traffic no more than 20% (each)

- autogen not maxed out (slider to the middle)

- Limit visibility to 60 mi, for example

- Limit no. of cloud layers (external weather addons)

The introduction manual tells you everything you need to do to stop this from happening - around page 21-22 if I remember correctly

That means you have changed some settings, if now happens with other planes too.

See PMDG manual, check this thread if you want http://forum.avsim.net/topic/417303-confused-about-virtual-memory-size-recommendations-oom-issues-what-is-the-best-size-for-the-paging-size/

And check all your settings again. Have you tried to disable unused scenery?

Listen, your posts are useless you're posting the same thing everytime.

look, i had OOM too, i know it is frustrating but you have to dig for the problem.

the only OOM i got was on my first flight with the T7 to London Heathrow. i am using almost every UK airport out there, also FTX global. Heathrow is a known airport for OOM's so what i did to prevent those was:

1. delete your fsx,cfg file, fsx will create a new one. apply only what written in the introduction no more then that, you have a very strong machine.

2. lower your sliders to dense, it is very important. i promise you won't see any differences. lower the texture sliders as well the water to low 2.x

3. use the scenery library to enable and disable areas where you are not flying.

4.it is very imprtant (at least for me) to disable any ORBX when flying to Heathrow, for me that was the cause.

PMDG 777 has nothing to do with OOM'S but the fact that fsx is a 32 bit system has. try those out, tell us if it works. after all you can always raise the sliders up if you don't like it.

One of the key things is to have an FSX.cfg that is tailored to your 777's needs.

Turn a bunch of stuff you won't be seeing except for a few moments on takeoff and final approach OFF. Reduce the scenery density to medium - you're 35k above it, what does it matter! Turn all the AI traffic off on the ground and reduce it to a minimum in the skies.

Then simply.... Just save that FSX.cfg from the FSX settings screen! Done!

You can make sixty of these if you want. Name them differently: Sue, Molly, Henrietta, etc.

Save another one for flying your A2A Piper Super Cub over Seattle in a high-wind thunderstorm during rush hour on New Year's Eve. And then don't use that for the 777 unless you want to see ghost skeleton plane at 3fps.

:)
