September 8, 201312 yr Hi Bryan, Just curious if the FS2Crew 777 version will have more FS2Crew 'to do stuff' between TOC and the TOD? I always thought the NGX was a little lacking in this respect - guessing it was based on the specific carrier OPS it was modled after. Some things you might add for the 777 FS2Crew enroute OPS might be: ETOPS management Step climbs and/or management of the new auto-step-climb functionality in the T7 Interaction with the Cabin Calls on the center console FMC Manage or announce long haul flight status, meals, or movies Simulate crew change from crew-rest area Interaction with the keep-alive (must touch button or knob) every so often - some PMDG T7 liveries have this accurately enabled Interaction with the auto-sim-rate functionality built into the T7 Also interaction with the fuel auto-uplift and ground-crew operations timing in the FMC PMDG Options area? Thanks for considering these basic ideas. I just wanted to note them while fresh on the brain. B) Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
September 8, 201312 yr Great ideas! The thought that on this ultra-long haul aircraft FS2Crew would not only add an F/O but also a Senior First Officer or relief pilot is really awesome! B) Regards Oliver Holstein

A lot depends on how good the SDK is. SDK still has not yet been released. I'm not really sure how I would model 'crew switching'. AI is not good enough to have a computer pilot take over half way and land plane while you go back to the crew rest area (namely, your bed :-) ) B. September 9, 201312 yr Author LOL, but what if I've had too much to drink? A rested crew from the bunks might be awfully advantageous, LOL... :fool: Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
September 10, 201312 yr Movies, meals, drinks and interacting with the FA/passengers is simulated in FSPAssengers. The other options would be great. Rene

Rene Used FSP for years and thoroughly enjoyed it while it was actively supported. Obviously, it's now a dead product with too many conflicts with the PMDG birds - specifically, ridiculous tire blowouts on greased landings. It's no longer an option.... Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE

I'd suggest FS Captain for the PAX stuff (and the dispatch/operations/timetable stuff) and FS2Crew for more procedural features like "Engines Turn Or Passengers Swim". What happened to AVSIM

September 11, 201312 yr How about a longer detailed FA announcements for example since this will be a modern plane it would have audio visual on demand. In the current airbus fs2crew the FA say somethin along the lines of "we will now be playing a movie..." Something like this would be nice obviously except the emirates bits http://youtu.be/aHdCDKxUWss Would be a nice little touch to hear "welcome on board this boeing triple 7 aircraft...." Etc etc than just general sounds
September 12, 201312 yr Commercial Member The hardest part is sourcing quality cabin recordings. I would like to get a new set for the 777. If you can help me obtain them, it would be appreciated. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
