September 19, 201312 yr You show it as 545,000lbs. According to FCOM1, 545,000lbs is for the 200 Oh.... Sorry. Corrected
September 19, 201312 yr Skino Can you try the program on a different PC or laptop? The path to the program may be too long. Copy the Derate folder on the C: rootfolder and try again. Does anyone have the program running on Win8? Tried all of your suggestions, and the latest version, to no avail. I have also tried running at Win7 compatibility. When I 'open' the exe file, it clearly uses resources (from Task Manager) but just does not display anything on the screen. It appears, I am the only one who is suffering any issues! I appreciate your help, perhaps in my case, things weren't meant to be. Rob Rob Payne
September 19, 201312 yr Hello Rob, (and of course everyone else who can not start the tool) I have written a simple little senseless program. Try it please. I would like to know whether it is a general problem of VB or is located in the program code of the calculators. http://www.file-upload.net/download-8092306/Hello-Rob.exe.html
September 19, 201312 yr Hello Skino It seems that at the last version of the tool....the flex temperature is not changing and the previous A button to calculate the Flex temp is removed ?? or maybe there is something I am missing ?? Cheers,
September 19, 201312 yr A button to calculate the Flex temp is removed ?? The button is slipped and not visible through the GUI conversion in another control. Fixed. :Whew: the "Hello-Rob.exe" works without problems. This is good. I'll disable some functions in a copy of the tool. So might find the error. Slowly I get also order in the incredibly many variables. If this continues I can teach soon "Derate for professionals" at a pilot school :p0504:
September 19, 201312 yr The TEST Version with some features disabled. Mainly the input and conversion: http://www.file-upload.net/download-8092725/TEST.zip.html

September 19, 201312 yr Hi Skino, the Hello Rob version is working here, the Test version NOT. JG
September 19, 201312 yr I've rewritten large parts of the code, and hope that it works at all. :Praying: I could test still not intensive. I'm counting on you. The A button is visible again and the (roughly) calculated assumed temperature can be applied with a single mouse click. http://www.file-upload.net/download-8093030/777DeRate.zip.html
September 19, 201312 yr Hi Master skino,...gg the GUI Works fine here....;-)))) regards Just my 2 cent's ____________________________________________________Richard Oberwinkler
September 19, 201312 yr again on win8 x64: looks like assumed temp doesn't change when i change TOW. if my manually entered assumed temp is to high, the warning sound is played an the "runway okay" background changes to red (it still says "runway ok"). this doesn't change back to green with a correct temp, only when the assumed temp button is pressed. September 19, 201312 yr Hi Skino, still not working here, system application protocol: System.InvalidOperationException. ...could it be that i have to install an older Net Runtime or Visual Basic thing ? what OS you`re running ? JG
September 19, 201312 yr @Knippi I suspect "Runway OK" is correct (all fields filled out) only the color is wrong?TOW is still not part of the assumed temerature. Am just about to add that. *Color fixed @JG This error is immediately at startup or when you change something in the tool?
