First and foremost a big thanks for your continued contributions.Secondly a question. Is there a way to avoid to two boxes that preceed the program start each and every time? Every time I start the program I get the message that starts with "FSAutoStart now store all configuation . . ." followed by the box that says "If you created any profiles . . ."It has been this way for several versions, just now asking . .. Again - THANKS!Joe LorencVice President, Carolina Operations, VN7 Networkhttp://www.vn7network.com/

I came here specifically looking for this program today and hurrah its a new update. Thanks!PP-ASEL

Yes, look for fsautostart*.ini files in your c:windows folder and remove them. That should take care of it.

Sure enough that did it, of course.Thank you and have a happy Thanksgiving.Joe LorencVice President, Carolina Operations, VN7 Networkhttp://www.vn7network.com/

KenAs a new XP user, I'm unsure which services can safely be shut down. Do you have a list somewhere that you can direct me to?Great program, Thanks!Jim

When you open the Services window, a help window should appear with my personal recommendations for each service that is recognized. Also, if you go to FSAutoStart web site, I list in the FAQ which services I keep running on my personal system. The Black Viper web site is defintely a good source of info about services.

Thanks a lot Ken, your excellent proggie just keeps getting better and better :) I wouldn't be without it.Best regards,Mike

Thanks for all the positive feedback!I wanted to know if you thought that the startup/shutdown of programs and services was faster with this release. Please post here with your observations. Thanks!

Thanks, 4 your great utility.

Is there any way to return to the first version? I updated it and now can't start FS autostart at all. After struggling with the new version for an hour I finally uninstalled it and luckily I had the first version still on my harddrive and reinstalled it. I never could get the new version to work. Oh well, the old version has been working perfectly, so I probably should have left well enough alone.
