Problem Solving.

Great work FlyTampa!

Really most appreciated!

Cheers, Christoph

Enjoy flying and happy landings.

Now only the gray texture surfaces need to be eliminated at night. Then makes Dubai at night under DX10 fun!

He is also working on the night textures? Or only at the lights?

Hi PJ

Does this good news that you break only appaly to those that have the DX10 Fixer? I have that FlyTampa Dubai airport so unless I'm using that Fixer, my PAPI, etc should be okay?

Rick Almeida

The papi lights are something the fixer could not solve. You need the fixer for everything else.

In addition to the incompatible PAPI lights, is anyone else seeing large red vertical "X"s on the FlyTampa Montreal runways when running it in DX10 with the fixer installed?

The light fix worked perfectly in Dubai. I hope they do the same for Montreal.

It depends how far George and Martin can go with the existing Dubai, Rick. It will certainly be possible that they can modify it so that the DX10 fixer can work around any other issue which it may have.

DX10-compatible means that any "compatible object/scenery" should run on FSX if DX10 worked in FSX.  However - the kicker is that DX10, in FSX - does not work properly - it was unfinished upon release of SP2. Steve's fixer makes it work - so the answer to your question - you need the Fixer!
