The only thing I don't like about Prepar3D is...

...that it is developed by a big company that's only open during office hours so we never ever get information or an update on progress or a new blog during the weekend. That sucks.

Here I am, sitting behind the PC all the time and all that is being posted is the same old news and speculation (and some crap) and that's it.

Other than that... all is fine. :P

V2 could be released in 2 weeks - Nov. 1st

a lot of addon developers and web stores only provide support on weekdays, seems to be the normal thing now, I do know that while we might not get any replies on a weekend from LM staff they do watch the forum to make sure posts are not out of line etc..

Prepar3d is a leap forward in simmimng, and due an upgrade shortly.. If this is the only gripe you have remember what FSX looked and ran when first released and be patient. Teecee.

No new physics not much of a leap in simming tbh..

A step in the right direction of something that potentially could catch my attention if it got an overhaul on physics also :)

- Seeking cover :)

What are you expecting btw as it helps people understand what you hope for in v2

Was meant in the most gentle humorous way. If you want I can change it and state it in another way

What exactly defines "physics", that you say hasn't been changed. Don't know how you would know if they have been changed or not, but  that's OK.

And why are you seeking cover, Captain???

He is seeking cover because he is expecting to be accosted by an angry mob with baseball bats.

That's what happens to you on AVSIM when you post a controversial point of view.

Sir, with respect, as a long time "lurker" on these forums, your comment here disgusts me. Are you insinuating that we, the members of Avsim, are a lynch-mob out to hang all who don't agree with the status quo? Be clear and quickly as I will not hesitate to report your foul post to the mods.

As for the topic, the only thing I don't like about P3D at the moment is that it isn't a large enough step forward. Thus I am looking forward to seeing what comes of V2.0. And if we ever do see cloud shadows that would just be a dream come true. Then if they can just make a build-from-the-ground-up autogen system similar to XPlane's with the same level of detail, we will be doing pretty well I think.

No irony here. Not a bit.

Here's his other post:

Here here sir! This thread is disgusting. I once heard a quote somewhere that went something like "any argument is convincing until you hear the other side of the story". Or words to that effect. MS/Joshua aren't here to defend themselves and I would bet Mr Howard is a far more successful individual than a lot of people on these forums.

And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

As the World goes mad some are leading the charge!

Rest my case :LMAO:
