November 22, 201312 yr Moderator Interesting video, looking forward to seeing more of them. During the video, he makes it seem that the defaults clouds in X-Plane are the ones from Skymaxx Pro, only towards the end does he indicate it's a plugin. It might confuse some new users into expecting this sort of behaviour out of the box. e.g. He indicates that flying through clouds does not produce a full white-out effect, which out-of-the-box it does. I think it's a known rule on YouTube, that hardly anyone ever reads the description :-)
November 22, 201312 yr I liked it. I like the way Froogle exposes his thoughts, with wich I pretty much identify myself. Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
November 22, 201312 yr Awesome! I look forward to viewing the next installments! My view now is ... if I were an X-Plane developer, I would want Froogle to showcase my creations ... and I'd listen very hard to what his views are.
November 22, 201312 yr Nice to see the ball rolling on these. However in the interests of transparency and fairness, I would have added lack of seasonal textures as something people considering investing in XPlane should at least be aware of. i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

November 23, 201312 yr Moderator +1 too. I've got so used to it being an internal summer in X-Plane, that I don't bother changing the date anymore. It doesn't actually bother me too much anyway, I find winter textures depressing :-)

November 23, 201312 yr Variety alleviates boredom. Back on topic, I had mixed feelings about Froogles review. I watched it in bed on the 50" in HD. I might do more of that, it's not a bad way to do it I also was a bit mixed, there were some things he said that didnt really worry me that they were not quite correct but there were a few things he said where I didnt think he was 100% on the ball.
