What's Your Download Speeds

Featured Replies

So like many of you, I'm currently downloading P3D V2. However, I'm finding my download speeds incredibly slow and wondered if it was the server getting hammered of if I've got it slow my end. Bearing in mind, I'm in the UK.

I've been downloading for 5 hours and 25 minutes now with a total of 40% completion at a rate of 200-240K/S.

Not amazing at all, but it's still got 6hours left. I understand, big file and probably big hit on the servers, but I've seen people download in a couple of hours...

Just out of interest what download speeds you getting from downloading P3D V2?

I'm currently getting around 250k/s (not amazing at all).

I got 1.8MB/s from my talk talk connection earlier for it, so it's definitely not that you're in the UK, it's most likely just that the americans have woken up and the servers are hammered.

For what it is worth... I downloaded P3D 2.0 some 5 hours ago and it only took 4 minutes for the entire program. So in the Netherlands the speeds were awesome. ^_^

I can't fathom speeds that high. I am doing 600KB/Sec in USA. Just 3 1/2 hours to go.

Were you uploading P3D? The question wasn't on general download speed from Speedtest, but for downloading P3d from their servers.

Mine averaged 9.2mb/s, and took around 16mins.

The website is very slow right now.

Just got my refund after my attempt to buy the pro licence (got the link to 1.4).

For what it's worth, my rig has been downloading for nearly 24 hours and says it still has 9 hours to go :-( (and that is broadband in rural New Zealand)

My time will come ! Patience is strong in this one ;-)
