November 27, 201312 yr I installed Duke 2.0 into P3D v2. Very low FPS in the cockpit. Unusable to fly. I have 33.9 FPS (locked at 34) in the Duke 2.0, at Aerosoft Trondheim, with medium settings and VC shadows on (and Opus Weather). Definitely running more FPS friendly in P3D2 than it did in FSX for me.
November 27, 201312 yr Strange  I get smooth 30FPS in the Duke V2. Outside and Inside. And of all the different installation methods discussed so far...which did you use? edit: Just read Q-Flyers post...may have to purchase the Estonia tool. November 28, 201312 yr Author Traded out my Radeon 6970 for a 780 GTX today and the Duke is back to rockin' the frames. Hope Rob and company are able to get the sound gauge working again.
December 4, 201312 yr Where can I get The FS Estonia Migration Tool? Thanks, Howard Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
December 4, 201312 yr There are claims that the Duke is compatible with P3Dv2. Others (including RealAir) claim it isn't. Still others claim you have to futz around with the name of the P3D executable to get it to work. I tried to install the Duke using the FSX installer, and while the aircraft "kinda" works I discovered a number of visual anomalies including undesirable transparency in parts of the panel, bright bluish strobes positioned in the air off the ends of either wing and above the tail (at night), high draw latency (on either the panel or the aircraft) when switching between VC and spot views, no RXP 530 support (even though it was presented as an option in the config utility), and missing sounds. I figure someone knows something I don't, someone wasn't terribly observant, or this aircraft really doesn't work in P3D in its present form. Anybody have luck getting this aircraft to work? Wel after trying to land the left gear won't come down :( André
December 4, 201312 yr I'd love to see a video of that! Intel i7 10700K | Asus Maximus XII Hero | Asus TUF RTX 3090 | 32GB HyperX Fury 3200 DDR4 | 1TB Samsung M.2 (W11) | 2TB Samsung M.2 (MSFS2020) | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280mm AIO | 43" Samsung Q90B | 27" Asus Monitor

André
December 4, 201312 yr If you use the soft landing gear option in the Duke's config panel it should work. If that's not possible in P3d then make the change in FSX then copy the aircraft cfg file over to P3d. , or you can use the above (with thanks to blueskies for the contact point alternative above).. We are keeping a keen eye on reaction to P3d and the many reports about it, and that will help us assess what plans we have in the future. In the meantime we continue to support FSX customers as normal. PLEASE do not email us about P3d. We are aware of what is going on and will make our decisions based on what the vast majority of our customers wish, and our own assessment of P3d's progress.
