Anyone read the tuning tips from LM

Featured Replies

Can someone please tell me where to locate the prepar3d.cfg file? I have found the prepar3d.exe.cfg file but it does not contain the headers listed in the LM Tuning guide. I have made sure none of my folders or files are hidden and I still cannot find this file to edit it.

It's in the folder Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2.

Probably on your C: drive.

Try looking under "users" on your C drive usually. Here's mine, just as an example (yours will obviously have a different name in users):

C:\Users\Peter\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\Prepar3D.CFG

Hope this helps,

Pete

Thanks. I finally found it and made all the adjustments but one. I cannot find the the title JOBSCHEDULER. How can I enter the affinity mask setting without the title shown. Anyone else have this problem?

add the line yourself

[JOBSCHEDULER]

AffinityMask=XX .......enter your appropriate value.

Good find! Who knew they'd put "tweaks" into the official documentation. Says loads about the transparency of the dev team.
