December 4, 201312 yr Hey guys I just downloaded and installed GTX Global to my P3DV2 directory.Everything seemed to go smooth the ORBX folder is in my LM/P3D folder with files in it. I start up P3D at Princess Juliana and the airport and island looks just like default. Is there something else I forgot to do??? December 4, 201312 yr You do know that FTX global does not change any airports, right? It's a global texture/night lighting addon. David Zambrano, CFII, CPL, IGI I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

December 4, 201312 yr Commercial Member You'll see a huge diference in ground textures. Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.
December 4, 201312 yr You should really head over to Orbx and submit a support request. Intel i7 10700K | Asus Maximus XII Hero | Asus TUF RTX 3090 | 32GB HyperX Fury 3200 DDR4 | 1TB Samsung M.2 (W11) | 2TB Samsung M.2 (MSFS2020) | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280mm AIO | 43" Samsung Q90B | 27" Asus Monitor

Because Princess Juliana contains photo texture for entire island by default? Frank
December 4, 201312 yr Author You should really head over to Orbx and submit a support request. I was really hoping you AVSIM guys could help me out. I really don't feel like making another log in for yet another payware forum just to to have to jump through hoops for support. Of course I would get a quicker answer here at AVSIM without having to verify my order number and all that blah blah crap. Maybe everything did install corrrectly its just I havent really flown around enough to tell the difference. I have touched FSX in a year and I just jumped into P3D so maybe there is a diff from default textures. December 4, 201312 yr St Maarten is a bit of an exception to the norm in P3D2 (and Fsx). Just try flying somewhere else; Europe's a dramatic improvement with FTXG, Alaska's great and even the more barren regions of Africa are significantly improved. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
December 4, 201312 yr Well if your going to have a login somewhere else, Orbx would be one. If you suspect that you did nothing wrong, do what Dave said and try some other regions. IMO the caribbean neads work, possibly its own personal OpenLC from Orbx. Now that would be great! December 4, 201312 yr Is there a green check on the FTX Global box in the FTX Central utility? If so, then it's installed and working. AJ Pongress
December 4, 201312 yr Make sure global is enabled in FTXcentral. Spawn at the airport at night and see if you have night lighting. David Zambrano, CFII, CPL, IGI I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

December 5, 201312 yr There isn't anything in it as far as a manual If you open up FTX Central, on the right side should be a box saying "PDF Documents". If you click that box, then underneath should appear the manuals in PDF form. "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma
