Just a thought, but with so many newcomers and potential newcomers, maybe we should start a comprehensive FAQ thread. It could details how to tweak the graphics, how to add scenery and aircraft. It can help direct people to stuff like Andras's HD Mesh and the SimHeaven downloads. In short a well written comprehensive guide to getting the best from X-Plane.

Ya, I would like it, I plan to get XP and info supplied will go into my little head for consumption.

+1 on this. A few threads with links for scenery, aircraft and utilities would be good. Even better if authors would consider hosting them here at avsim.
