Maybe its time for an X-Plane FAQ Sticky

Featured Replies

Just a thought, but with so many newcomers and potential newcomers, maybe we should start a comprehensive FAQ thread. It could details how to tweak the graphics, how to add scenery and aircraft. It can help direct people to stuff like Andras's HD Mesh and the SimHeaven downloads. In short a well written comprehensive guide to getting the best from X-Plane.

I am willing to help, although cannot write the whole thing, do other people think this would be a good idea?

Ya, I would like it, I plan to get XP and info supplied will go into my little head for consumption.

+1 on this. A few threads with links for scenery, aircraft and utilities would be good. Even better if authors would consider hosting them here at avsim. :)

For me, what would have been useful is an X-Plane transition guide for FSX/P3D users.
