December 23, 201312 yr It works! Edit: Seems to get stuck when I try to export a .flightAddon with the files for the default Carbon Cub. Also, the Addon Manager seems to have a dependency on the Alaska DLC again.

December 23, 201312 yr I would really like to be able to see what types of innovations I can work on with this, but I can't get the program to actually start. Really great work though. Thanks for all that you have done so far, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future.
December 23, 201312 yr Hm, I was able to download it now, but I can't launch the AddonBuilder. I double-click on it but nothing happens. It gets the little loading circle for a second or 2 then I guess it forgets what it was doing. Addon Manager is working fine however.
December 23, 201312 yr Author Panda, can you check the Event Viewer to see if there were any errors with Addon Builder? (Type Event Viewer into the search window in the Control Panel, and then click "View Event Logs", and look under Windows Logs\Application) Also, what version of Windows are you using?

December 24, 201312 yr I can't get the addon builder to start up. Alex Leung Aerospace Engineering Undergraduate Glider & Private Pilot via Royal Canadian Air Cadets
December 24, 201312 yr Hey Stone, Do you have any preferred configurations for running 0.9.0 ? 32 vs. 64 bit .Net 4.0 / 4.5 Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 etc.
December 24, 201312 yr Author It requires .NET 4.5.1, and probably doesn't run on XP any more. Other than that, it shouldn't matter. 4.5.1 should be installed by the installer, but maybe that is not working for some reason. Can the people who are having trouble running the Addon Builder try installing .NET 4.5.1? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40779
December 24, 201312 yr Hey Stone, I had net 4.5.1 installed but ran installer again. Installer found previous install and gave options of Remove or Repair so I 'Repaired' builder still doesn't start, will try uninstalling net 4.5.1 and reinstalling later but don't think that's it. Going xmas shopping so be a couple hrs Sry I cant be more help & ty for your efforts
December 24, 201312 yr Author Thanks guys! I was able to reproduce the problem on one of my laptops that I hadn't run the new version on yet. It turns out that I need to be installing the redist for the new VC runtime as part of the installer. I also fixed several problems converting some of the airplanes from FSX. I was able to convert about half of them successfully now. I also changed the Addon Builder so that if there is an error, instead of getting stuck in the progress dialog, it will now print out the error and allow you to continue on. All of the turboprops seems to fail, as well as a couple other random aircraft. If you find aircraft that fail (especially any good freeware 3rd party aircraft), please let me know. I honestly don't care too much about converting the default FSX aircraft as they are all fairly old and crufty by now. I hope there are some good freeware 3rd party aircraft out there that we might be able to convert. Here is the new version: http://flighttoolkit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/FlightToolkit_0_9_1.zip Edit: Does anyone know if there is a way to edit the original post? It appears as though after some time, posts are not allowed to be edited.
