If I could get my yoke configured similar to how it is in FSX then I would most likely be flying in XP more

Thanks, messed about with rendering and FPS better in most cases! My system still doesn't like global shadow settings though :( (670 SC 4GB - maybe I have a duff one).

Likewise, my system does not like shadows also!

So, after a few months of Windows + Linux booting, decided to just stick with X-Plane in Linux with a fresh install of Lubuntu 13.10 - getting way more fps, even with the shadows at 'melt my gpu' setting than I ever did in Windows :)

all I can say is WOW, totally awesome, Manhattan shot is clear and crisp.
