January 20, 201412 yr Took a flight from KFLL Ft. Lauderdale into KMCO Orlando landing on 17l, everything was going fine, until at about less than 4,000 while I was on final an Airbus cut right in front of me, this was scary and real!!! Enjoy
January 20, 201412 yr Flying into many busy airports and using Ultimate Traffic 2, I frequently see aircraft cutting me off on final. There are programs which eliminate landing conflicts like you describe. Rob Marton Rob Marton
January 20, 201412 yr Author First shot he was coming right at me!!!! I tried to catch up to him, wanted to given him the fi----, and not a salute, yes and that's what happen when yu have ut2 and I was running air traffic at 60%.
January 21, 201412 yr I've had that happen and thank goodness no wake turbulence. Actually, someone should develop that characteristic. January 22, 201412 yr Enjoyed your flight. I just picked up KMCO and KFLL on sale a few days ago. Two great airports to have. January 22, 201412 yr Author enjoy the airports, kfll/fs dreamteam/ and kmco taxitugate, both are winners for sure.
January 23, 201412 yr Agree, but have been having a problem with shimmering/flashing runways outside the cockpit with KMCO. That is the only airport that I have this problem with. Tried different tweaks but no change. January 23, 201412 yr Agree, but have been having a problem with shimmering/flashing runways outside the cockpit with KMCO. That is the only airport that I have this problem with. Tried different tweaks but no change. I had a similar problem with Taxi2o KMCO, I was able to resolve it by going back to DX9. Rob Rob Marton
January 23, 201412 yr Rob, I figured out when I use REX everything is ok. Not sure why it won't work using default weather. I could never go back to DX9. DX10 is remarkable breathing new life into my low end computer. January 24, 201412 yr Author definitely the rise of dx10 and the fixer has made a huge difference in the appearance and performance of fsx.
