Tom, I found the perfect plane for you to make that flight in

Ted,

Hope you are not feeling too bad.  I'm still in a state of total shock as to how unbelievably bad Denver played.  I think the last time Denver was in the Super Bowl, the Washington Redskins led 35-10 at halftime and I won 42-10.  Denver was a heavy favorite then too.  In fact, everyone at the Redskin Party I went to were in total depression when Denver went up 10-0 almost immediately.  Then, our QB, Doug Williams, went berserk and scored 5 touchdowns.  These are not good times for Denver fans....

Remembered like it was yesterday. I thought the game was over after the very first play when John Elway connected with Mark Jackson for a touchdown. By the end of the first quarter, we were up 10-0 untill that dreaded 2nd quarter in which haftime the game was over.

Yesterday was certainly a sad day around the Denver water coolers. The Bronco's just could not get it together. Reminded me of their first trips to the Superbowl with Elway. Last year we made it to the AFC championship, this year to the Superbowl. Maybe next year......

Back on FSX. There used to be a nice Bronco's repaint for the Eaglesoft Citation X. I looked at a number of sites but could not find it. Anybody have any idea if it is still hosted anywhere?

It wasn't over at halftime.  We still had to score one more TD.   Sorry!  I just had to say that as I could not believe how Seattle kept passing in the 4th quarter even though they had the game won long before the end of the first quarter.  At one time I thought they were going to kick a field goal near the end of the game but they didn't have to as they easily walked through the Denver defense.  Talk about throwing salt into a wound!!!

Best regards,

Because Seattle played how you're suppose to play - from START to FINISH! They didn't let up. They didn't go into "prevent winning" mode like most teams. This is how it should be. Some will argue this is poor sportsmanship. I completely disagree! Especially with the past couple of years in the NFL where we've almost regularly seen teams come from double digit/insurmountable deficits time and time again. They are grown men. If you can't stop what the other team is doing, that's on you. It's not about feelings. Denver had every opportunity to stop Seattle - they just couldn't.

Plus, you have the most explosive offense in NFL history that you're playing against. You can't give them even the slightest opening if you want to win the game. If Seattle had throttled back and Denver would have came back and tied the game lets say, would Denver then lose on purpose to be fair back since "the game was over" way earlier? That answer is a resounding "No". They wouldn't have.

By the way, I'm not a Seattle fan nor a Denver fan so I didnt care who won. Bottom line, Seattle DOMINATED in every phase of the game.

Regards,

People are just plain CRANKY here in Colorado after the embarrassment Sunday night.  Doesn't help that the weather has been miserable and is forecast to stay that way for the next week.  Cold, snow, rinse, repeat.  But hey... pitchers and catchers report to spring training in less than 2 weeks, so time to think about warmer weather.

Congrats to Seattle.  Don't think there's much doubt left who the best team in the NFL was.

Would love to try flying the route, but I'm afraid nothing in my hangar has the legs for it.  25 miles in straight line distance, but a 1300 mile route.

Well, at least you are not a Vikings fan.  That has been difficult as of late.  But at least I have my Colts.
