March 1, 201412 yr As was mentioned before (might have been in the previous thread on this subject), it is a pity that all of these ATC addons do not give you a demo as VOX does, then you could judge for yourself. Having said that, in my opinion, with the exception of PATC, if you read the product info pages on these programs, for me they work as advertised, so you can pretty much judge for yourself as to which one suites your needs, because eventually it boils down to each person's personal preferences. Yes, I have tried them all. Regards, Rick Hobbs

March 2, 201412 yr Worth noting that there are some airports (EGGP Liverpool) for example where VOX doesn't handle the airspace correctly and simply sends you on your way after takeoff without routing you under control out through the CTR. The developer said about a year ago he'd look to fix it but I've not seen anything yet. Also, one particularly good idea for VFR pilots is that airfields can have specific customised VRP's (I think VOX ships with one for EGGD Bristol) but they are done through DLLs, something which the average person can't mess with. It would be a much more attractive solution if the developer would implement a solution where users could themselves create XML scripts to create customised VRP's for airports, then we would be able to get accurate and quick solutions rather than having to wait for the developer to get round to it.. Or not as the case seems to be currently. I see a huge amount of potential in VOX still for VFR but sadly little appetite to realise it :( Another great idea would be if you create a flight plan, if VOX could check for VATSIM controllers, and then fill in the gaps, sort of automatically defaulting to online where it exists.. ? March 3, 201412 yr I think that there is a limit on the number of panels that can be installed, iirc, so if an a/c is at its limit trying to add another will fail? might be wrong can anyway confirm? Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
March 3, 201412 yr I got quite a few voices free on ny win 7 install, the links to voxpop are on the vox atc web site, 3 male voices with either clean , static or filter to make each voice different and a female voice with clean, static or filter which with Microsoft Anna gives you two female voices but several different sounds. <p> Paul Sleight
March 4, 201412 yr are u able to install voxatc panel to any airplane? ive demod and panel doesnt popup for all airplanes at all airports so i quit using. it works in any plane i've tried, however: 1. you have to run the panel setup after installing new planes 2. a few planes had issues, like one of the pmdg planes if i recall, the panel.cfg was set to read-only so i had to change it to make it writeable (also required for ezdok) 3. i think i had one or two planes where due to an unusual panel.cfg it had trouble adding the gauge entries in the right spot and i had to tweak the panel.cfg manually to get it to show up... this was a long time ago, i don't recall which aircraft it was.. cheers -andy crosby
