March 17, 201412 yr Author Thanks. Dan, you should find it fixed. May I enquire what disk array you were using? So I can avoid! Worst nightmare scenario. It came with our HP G5's. I am not sure of the actual manufacturer.
March 17, 201412 yr Well, one good thing: we're now getting more users in the last 15 minutes than before with no real slowdowns. Tom would have to check the records, but I think I saw over 900 at one point. This doesn't include before the real clock caught up with the new posts from the 13th erroneously dated the 14th and the users was up to 1800 for a while. When I first logged on, right after Avsim came back up, the users was around 2200. Then it dropped to under 400... I seem to remember 275 at one point. Then it went back up to normal, then went up to 1800. I think they were playing with the forum clock at that point. When the forum clock was correct and all the 14th posts were accounted for, the users went back to historical levels. Currently, everything seems to be great. Thanks again, Tom et al. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

Hook You have that right Larry. When the clock finally caught up with itself on Saturday evening, the user count became correct.
March 19, 201412 yr May I enquire what disk array you were using? So I can avoid! Worst nightmare scenario. I had to go look myself....because i was curious too.....from the HP website, this is what they use in the G5's: Storage Controller: Performance Models: HP Smart Array P400/512MB BBWC Controller (RAID 0/1/1+0/5/6); High Efficiency and Base Models: HP Smart Array P400/256MB Controller (RAID 0/1/1+0/5); Entry Models: HP Smart Array E200/64MB Controller (RAID 0/1/1+0)HP is typically VERY good stuff. Knock on wood hope it stays that way!
