March 16, 201412 yr Which NGX ... Like , iFly or PMDG possibly? In FSX. If you use Cessna. Go to LEMD. What are your runway choices in FSX? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
March 16, 201412 yr the OP thinks downloading charts from Navigraph is updating his Navdata ??????? I tried hard after reading the comment quoted immediately above and just could not make anything the OP said weave into that conclusion. Perhaps that is because like the OP, I do not update my approach charts/plates between NAV cycles. That to keep them matched. I know the OP has already responded to this, but sure wish we could all read more carefully before responding. March 16, 201412 yr "I'm confused as to why my Navdata doesn't agree when it's all supposedly from the same cycle."What is the path to the folder on your PC contains the Navigraph Airac cycle you are using now? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
March 16, 201412 yr Looks like the PMDG NG... So, you're saying all you do is enter origin then destination and the FMS gives that error? Could be a Navigraph bug... but I've yet to see that specific FMS message. I'm on airac 1310 and I went to EGCC, set the FMS to LEMD and no errors.... of course I show Ry 14L/R. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 16, 201412 yr I would like to get inside his Navigraph Navdata folder (for a specific aircraft) then it would be possible to verify the cycle date, and check some LEMD runway (and SID/STAR) data. Look like charts are not in Sync Navdata. Maybe they were at one time??? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
March 16, 201412 yr I'm not even familiar with the Navigraph charts.... do they somehow interact with the Navigraph airac in the addons? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 16, 201412 yr I have no idea on Navigraph chart/cycle. But the OP said: "I also have charts for my 70-80 payware airports from the same cycle, so everything should be in perfect sync". So he knows about it. But the main focus was also on the CDU error ... runway error message. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
March 17, 201412 yr Maybe the LEMD airport bgl that you now have uses rwys 14R/L and your airac data has rwys 15r/l so the FMS gives you the error message.
March 17, 201412 yr The FMS in the NGX only looks at the Navigraph Navdata for the Approach/runways/STARs definitions. And his screenshot ... to me .. looks like a PMDG. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
March 17, 201412 yr And his screenshot ... to me .. looks like a PMDG. OP has not posted in topic since this time yesterday. His "My Simulator" details confirms he flies PMGD, as well as an Aerosoft A320 Extended, so might be either. Interesting detail from the Aerosoft product page for the A320 (this is a direct quote): "NavDataPro (LIDO) navigation database (better coverage then Navigraph) but backwards compatible with Navigraph. Includes current AIRAC Data at the time of release and this can be updated by the user at any moment." March 17, 201412 yr This error usually happens when there is an error in the way the sid/star file is written. Maybe it had become corrupted. Search for the file located within the PMDG folder situated within your main FSX installation location and open it up with notepad and check for errors. But make sure you back up the original file first! Gavin Price

But make sure you back up the original file first! Yes, I have been trying to get into his Navdata folder to look at procedures etc. but he has not responded. I also thought (as a long shot) he might be in P3D rather than FSX which might cause an odd error with PMDG. I just did a PMDG test EGLL-LEMD with the Navigraph Aug 2012 cycle and all is ok. And, I am using FSX default afcad for LEMD (older runways). https://www.dropbox.com/s/cclbaeea2zsqhxm/PMDG-LEMD-CYCLE1209%20%2811%29.JPG Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
March 17, 201412 yr Author Hi Guys Sorry I haven't had chance to properly dig into this. OK, to clarify (it gets a bit odd now) I am using both the PMDG NGX and Aerosoft A320 I get two different situations in both aircraft, even though both aircraft are using the same AIRAC cycle (actually 2012/12 not 2012/08 as I had previously stated) In the NGX I get this issue that I've already posted screenshots, where I can't select ANYTHING to do with an approach, with this mysterious error message re RWY 15 In the A320 I can choose only from RWY's 18L/R and 32L/R (NOT RWY 14L/R or 36L/R) which makes no sense, as I've interrogated the NavData file in my Aerosoft Directory and see the following: EDIT: I've just realised that 18 and 32 are used for arrivals and 14 and 36 departures - now that makes sense as to why I could only see those arrival options in the Airbus FMC. What a silly billy  In the SIM (airport selection menu) I get 14R/L and 36R/L (no 18s and no 32s) again this now makes perfect sense seeing as 18 and 32 are not used for departures. In my PMDG Navdata file in Notepad, I see this Which is as it should be, I can't see anything wrong here which is why I don't see why the NGX is throwing up an error about RWY15 when it doesn't even appear to be in the data. So at least it's now apparent that this is just an issue in the NGX, I will have to try reinstalling the cycle into the NGX and go from there.
March 17, 201412 yr Author All The simplest answer is - as per usual - the correct one! A simple reinstall just of the PMDG specific AIRAC has solved the issue. Obviously something strange happened with the first installation even though on the surface all seemed right. Thanks to those who have taken the time to attempt to help me resolve.
March 17, 201412 yr Obviously something strange happened with the first installation even though on the surface all seemed right. Glad you solved it. I hate it when these types of things happen. The most frustrating thing is it costs you flight time.
