DX How To Doc? Gone?

Featured Replies

Greetings everyone,

might be going blind, but I cannot seem to find the DX10 how to doc...I mean I can find the thread, but none of the links work?

Best regards,

Rene

As stated previously in the How to topic that use to be pinned at the top of the DX10 Forum, the links are dead. You get 404 errors. You might PM Paul so he can fix the link. The How to document was for Steve's DX10 fixer, the freeware version and told you how to install the freeware version. Steve has now developed the DX10 Fixer and you can now buy the product. It has it's own installation instructions and a manual that comes with the product.

Hope this helps.

Hi Jim,

thanks for your feedback.

I actually bought the fixer when it was released.

I had it uninstalled cause I did a clean install of my system.

Now i just reinstalled the latest version and had a quick flight. Buildings and cars are grey. Hmm.

This at EDDF and LSZH.

Any ideas you could help me with?

Best regards,

Rene

Think you should have checked with PJ first before posting the document, it isn't yours to share.

\Robert Hamlich/

Links to it are in his signature at other forums and is generally available, so I can't see how it's an issue.

Here it is in a nutshell.

There is no copyright notice on this document. PJ released this document to the public in December of 2013. If individuals want to align themselves on either side of what happened earlier, that's their privilege. However, since I like PJ, this forum and the help both have provided, if there is some tiny thing I have that can help someone, I'm going to do it.

Now having said that, if PJ does not want to continue helping others as he's done in the past, I will respect his wishes.

No further comments on this matter from me.

Hmm, meaning that this one is not the latest one.

Could you upload the latest one in Dropbox and share it?

Best regards,
