Are the REX 4 Texture Direct clouds more directX 10 friendly than REX 4?

Paul I found your tutorial. Looks like some excellent documentation, I'm reading through it now.

Ok I just tried DX10 again following Paul's tutorial, everything appears flawless for now. Nothing special however flickering I experienced in dx9 hasnt appeared and there is noticeable smoothness gained at the same frame rates. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it worlds. User error in setting DX10 must be easy so follow a good tutorial step by step.

Are the REX 4 Texture Direct clouds more directX 10 friendly than REX 4?

REX4 is the overall name for their new suite of products. The individual components are REX4 Direct "Weather Direct", which as far as I can see, is a new engine: REX4 Direct "Texture Direct" is a slew of new HD textures: and then REX4 Direct "Weather Architect", which allows one to create one's own weather.

I would expect the Textures to have a somewhat lighter impact on all the variants of FSX and P3D, as this is the major frame-killer for all of our sims. It looks too, as if I shall be using the texture very shortly.... (another weather program...cheesh!..sigh).
