For the record - yes the SDK will get updated. There's a list of requested things I've collected from users (the OP here was one of them I remember) and we'll implement them when we do the next NGX update. No, you will not be getting any release date prognosticating out of me - I honestly have no idea myself. The focus is getting the 777 SP1 and 300ER out the door right now.

Once the new OC feature that allows product updating on a per-file basis is done though it will probably not be difficult to push out a smaller update that just enables the new SDK features. I don't think you will have to wait for the full SP2 or whatever we end up doing.

Thanks, Tabs.  Appreciate the update.  Kinda goes with what I assumed from PMDG in that it would happen, not certain when, but it'll come!

Best,

Kattz out.

And as with everything PMDG, they'll make the wait worthwhile.

I am very happy with the NGX, just give me weather radar, please ? Oh, and any other improvements would also be greatly appreciated :-) I only fly the NGX and the A2a Cessna, but looking for one more module to add to my toil. I'd prefer another PMDG, but am tempted towards, a certain turboprop that allready has W/R implemented, and integrated with ASN. Weather is my only other crucial requirement in fsx, other than high fidelity aircraft, so any eye candy is a bonus if it allows. I hope it's not too far away, no pressure :-) The NGX is truly the best on the market, just needs its edges polished.

Off topic post for no reason?

I wasn't going to respond to your post, however after reading several of your posts, it seems you have a bit of an attitude. You are not much of a people person are you? You are certainly not in marketing, I hope.

This is just my own take on the situation, but I know Ryan's had a bit of a full plate lately, and just about anyone tends to lose a little formality when that occurs.

There has been a decent amount of off-topic posting in various threads by people trying to get "extra" information from the team members about unrelated items.  Even RSR has mentioned this in one of the other pinned threads.  Regardless of how you intended it, your post came across as one of those posts where someone realized a team member was in a thread and they might be able to catch them to answer an unrelated question for that extra information.  Thus the short response alluding to the off-topic nature (particularly because your post was equally, if not more so, short).

I can certainly appreciate your loyalty to Ryan. When I posted that I was not aware of Ryan's presence in this thread. I just wanted to pop in with the long awaited 747 V2 that is also on their plate and not to get to hopeful for an upgrade on the 737 anytime soon. As a business owner I can tell you that when dealing with the public you have to keep your cool regardless of how exhausted you are that a dead horse is being beaten (read his posts). Your right this forum is rife with off topics and necro posting and thread jacking. But no one does anything about it.

I had a feeling that would be turned towards a loyalty thing. That wasn't intended. I'd step up to support anyone here if I knew a little about what was affecting them away from the forum as well. That goes for anyone I talk to off the forum. I no now I'd appreciate seeing the same from other people if my own motives were in question here.

I see your point, and I wasn't trying to invalidate it. Just felt like adding a little perspective that might not be as obvious if you didn't know.
