(I`m not affiliated with them just a keen enthusiast.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzRFws-BpVc http://islandsim.com/
June 10, 201411 yr Author Bump Released today, Please support PacSim and buy it!!! its fantastic with no frame impact at all. http://islandsim.com/ninoy-aquino-int---manila.html http://secure.simmarket.com/pis-manila- ... 3dv2.phtml
June 10, 201411 yr I have 5 of their airports. They are nice and frame friendly but never going to be worth the $37 asked for this one. Im keen to to see what they have done to earn the price hike ZORAN
June 10, 201411 yr I just bought it and it's really quite amazing. They've done the entire metro Manila area, and the detail at RPLL is fantastic and true to real life. Also I haven't experienced any frame rate drops on my machine. This is the first airport I've bought from them and it appears that the coverage area is much larger than their projects in the past - which I may just have to look at purchasing in the future.
June 10, 201411 yr Author I have 5 of their airports. They are nice and frame friendly but never going to be worth the $37 asked for this one. Im keen to to see what they have done to earn the price hike They have included the entire Manila Metro Area and surrounding area including Sangley AFB, which is a step up from other previous release`s from PacSim, you only need to look at the detail they have included, thus i approve of the cost which is minimal in comparison to Orbx Airports which you barely get coverage outside the airport perimeter fence for roughly the same price minus the frame rate kill Orbx gives you. Rick I just bought it and it's really quite amazing. They've done the entire metro Manila area, and the detail at RPLL is fantastic and true to real life. You need to buy Chubu RJGG from PacSim, it makes a nice medium hop between Japan and the Phil.

June 10, 201411 yr "( C )overing 246,000 sq mi (638,000 sq km)" - is the covered area actually that huge? That would be a square of 500 mi X 500 mi - more than four hours in an airliner at cruise speed to fly the perimeter alone??? What happened to AVSIM
June 10, 201411 yr Best Scenery i ever have BUY...and what is 37 Dollars for that nice nice JOB...... Some of US buy more than 200 for ORBX......but FSX crashes and more... June 10, 201411 yr Commercial Member "( C )overing 246,000 sq mi (638,000 sq km)" - is the covered area actually that huge? I wonder that too, it would mean the coverage area is several times larger than the entire Philippines.
June 10, 201411 yr Hi Rick66, can you confirm that the photoreal textures actually do cover 246,000 sq mi? If so, that would seem a bargain and I'll definitely buy it. Thanks Shug May all your landings be safe ones! Hugh Costello - NZWN
June 10, 201411 yr I wonder that too, it would mean the coverage area is several times larger than the entire Philippines. Yeah, that's slightly more than two Philippines for the price of one! EDIT: I asked a RPLL owner via PM in a German forum and will report his findings/statement concerning coverage. simMarket now has two customer comments, one in German, the other one in English. The English speaking customer is only nearly happy with the night lighting: http://secure.simmarket.com/pis-manila-ninoy-aquino-intl-rpll-fsx-p3dv2.phtml (I prefer buying from the developer directly, BTW.) Edited June 10, 201411 yr by olli4740 What happened to AVSIM
June 10, 201411 yr Sounds like a sensible write up and Im not much of a night flier myself but it does look like the dev has put in an extraordinary amount of detail into this package. I can vouch that so far their airports have practically zero hit on frames and that's with PMDG. Im going to get it of course but Ive always bought them during their 40% sales ...hmmm ZORAN
June 10, 201411 yr Author Hi Rick66, can you confirm that the photoreal textures actually do cover 246,000 sq mi? If so, that would seem a bargain and I'll definitely buy it. Thanks Shug Hey Shug, I`m not too sure on the quoted sq/mi by the developer, i run FTX Global so its hard to say without disabling it, will have a look, you could also ask the developer directly at his forum, i`m sure he will shed some light on it.
June 10, 201411 yr @rick66 The 2nd link gives a 404 page not found error This scenery looks good from the screenshots. Rick Almeida
June 10, 201411 yr This scenery is awesome. The right hand turn out of 24 is amazing. The city and surrounds are superbly modeled.
