June 10, 201411 yr Commercial Member Aaahh! thanks for pointing out the anomaly. Just drop the extra zeros and replace the "," with "." between 6 and first 0 and you can cycle across instead of flying. We've corrected that at out product page as well. For those who have purchased and are enjoying Manila, thank you kindly for your business and the vote of confidence in the product's performance. Cheers! June 10, 201411 yr Business done, voted and ... took the PMDG B777 instead of my bicycle for a real VAS penalty - but VAS stayed in the 3.3 to 3.4 GB range until takeoff with some very nice visuals and frame rates. Another great release by PacSim for sure. For an idea for the covered area (pls. note there are two sorts of default ground textures installed in my FSX - hope you notice the PacSim custom ground anyway): What happened to AVSIM
June 10, 201411 yr Thks for posting that shot Ollie. Is that your VAS use with a trimmed scenery.cfg? Al Stiff
June 10, 201411 yr Thks for posting that shot Ollie. Is that your VAS use with a trimmed scenery.cfg? So you DO remember Thessaloniki X? My RPLL VAS usage was with my 'ordinary' scenery.cfg and my usual airliner flying graphics profile. So absolutely NO (photo)scenery disabled, all still active. Actually the concept of the RPLL title reminds me of how LGTS is designed, with that huge, detailed area surrounding the airport. With LGTS, the T7 would have put me close to the VAS limit; with RPLL ... still plenty of headroom as you can see. Also with some insane graphics settings and using a default plane, VAS was well within limits. Those 400 MB "VAS reserve" of Scenery Config Editor weren't needed at all. After posting the two pics above I returned the T7 to Manila and forwarded the sim time to night: Have to acknowledge, the night lighting of RPLL is a bit weaker than the overall quality of Manila, but still very well done and it creates some special atmosphere (I somehow felt reminded of Kai Tak at night). What happened to AVSIM
June 10, 201411 yr I have 5 of their airports. They are nice and frame friendly but never going to be worth the $37 asked for this one. Im keen to to see what they have done to earn the price hike LGTS when it was released $26. I'll wait for a sale. MSFS
June 10, 201411 yr Just picked this up and did a short hop with the Q400 from Laoag (RPLI) to Manila (RPLL). With the autogen settings set to medium - medium high, it didn't seem to run that well. Then again, my system isn't something to boast about so I'll let that slide. Flights in the day are fun but after flying a few patterns at night, it didn't seem as appealing as FT Dubai Rebooted, Kai Tak, etc. The night lighting is definitely not up there with the premium add ons. The price is sort of steep but I got it anyway. I'd recommend waiting for some sort of discount on this.
June 10, 201411 yr That was a very enlightening post, Oliver , about VAS and the different sceneries and the T7. I certainly learned something about the T7-VAS correlation. Rick Almeida

The community isn't hyped over something insignificant, it's more than worth it I am sorry for going off-topic, but I wanted to pass on a friendly reminder that AVSIM's siganture rules have been changed. It is no longer allowed to have your system specifications in your signature. Please use the "My PC" and "My Simulator" tabs provided in your profile instead. For the full signature rules please follow this link or use the link in the Forum tab on the top of every AVSIM page. Thank you for your cooperation. Best regards, Florian
November 29, 201411 yr I have just purchased this and my planes are either hovering over the ground or under it when I used Vector exclusions. Any one have any ideas on why this might be occuring? From EGFF to YSSY

November 29, 201411 yr Duplicate afcad file like mytraffic, or you didn't disable rpll in the vector config tool. Well I have now searched for all files with the RPLL and the only ones are in the correct folder. And yes I did disable RPLL in vector and when I do all the planes go under the ground, when its not excluded they all float above the ground. From EGFF to YSSY
