June 7, 201411 yr Sorry for not having anything really objective to show, guys, hahaha... I'm just excited! Still trying to find the best settings for me. But oh boy... these unusual angles are so cool! Thanks for viewing, Gabriel J. T. Rodrigues My mods in the library My photography (site updated!) English isn't my native language. June 7, 201411 yr Gabriel, te entendo tão bem :-) After more than 20 yrs avidly playing civil flightsims, and never having had the chance to use such a device, TIR5 + Pro Clip came as a 50 yo birthday gift, from Brasil!!!! just a couple of weeks ago :-) My friend Alec was not using his TIR and decided to offer it to me. It took more than a month for it to arrive, including having disappeared from the mail logs in Brasil, but eventually it arrived!!! Although I am now, after all this years using civil flightsims, so away from that "genre" of flight simulators, and fully converted to combat flightsims, learning the IL2 BoS, Rise of Flight and DCS World tricks, TIR5 has made my simmer life a whole different! Whow!!!! What can I say? It's superb, required just a bit of adaptation, and some good profiles. I am using Requiem's profile for IL2, RoF and DCS, but tried it with X-Plane 10 and it worked great. You can pick it from this IL2 BoS thread ( search for Requiem 6DOF profile ). Thanks for the great shots Gabriel! Abraço! Surely it doesn't surprises me that your package kind of got lost here for a while... You are absolutely right about the adaption. I think I'm getting there. Thanks for your profile recommendation! I'm actually comparing some popular profiles for flight simming and trying to create my own based on them. Lots of progress today. Can't wait to do my first complete flight with this thing. Um enorme abraço e bons vôos! Great view! Thank you, FDX! Gabriel J. T. Rodrigues My mods in the library My photography (site updated!) English isn't my native language. June 8, 201411 yr Been using mine for a couple of years. Never fly without it even thru my wife thinks it makes me look rather silly on the bill of my ball cap. It is indispensable with the low altitude maneuvering in tight quarters that I like. Great to look down the wing when turning in the pattern. But you will get used to it in time because it is well worth it.

It's great to have this when I'm flying the Lancair Legacy. Lots of fun ahead, I hope! Awesome. nebojsa Thank you! Gabriel J. T. Rodrigues My mods in the library My photography (site updated!)
