February 26, 200521 yr Might be a good idea to get rid of one of the hardware forums. Keep this one and do away with the "PC and Mac" (or whatever it is?).As bold as those titles are we'll still get folks who post their hardware questions in this forum. It gets more attention and some folks are just... well, you know what I was going to write. :-) Greg
February 26, 200521 yr Greg, well, if they do, they will be wasting their time in creating the post, and anyone that responds will also be wasting their time. We will delete all hardware posts in this forum (and subsequent answers). If anyone wants to post a hardware question, they will need to do so in one of the two that are available, otherwise their post will get "nuked". :)
February 26, 200521 yr Nice flashing lol.Yeah why do we have both a PC and MAC forum and a hardware forum in total different places?
February 26, 200521 yr Why not post in the appropriate forum as requested by AVSIM?Hardware posts tend to be specialised and often relate only to a specific piece of hardware and shouldn't clutter up the other forums where, I suspect, they are not of general interest. Gerry Howard
February 26, 200521 yr It's simple....don't have any hardware problems, geeeez. :-lol Best, Michael KDFW
February 26, 200521 yr Howdy,"What I am considering is shutting down all the forums (except for the commercial support forums) and only having one forum for everything."Amazing that no one has picked up on this. Actually, I have no problem with that approach (but then I bet I'm in a large minority). :-lol
February 27, 200521 yr Because users requested that we put a subforum here for hardware. Lot of good that did, heh? :)
February 27, 200521 yr Nice job tom,i agree. Did a lot of good. Cant you see we all make great use of it? :-wave Chase Barnett
February 28, 200521 yr Author I cant see this Hardware forum when I navigate to "top" never have found it.SO where is it?! Of course people wont post if its not visible.I think the AVSIM forums could do with a spring-clean - they're starting to get as confusing as "nodes all busy"!Adam
