June 12, 201411 yr Does anyone know where I can find good scenery for Lugano and Locarno in Switzerland? I found a company named CR Software that made those sceneries but you can not order them anymore. Does anyone know anyone else that made those sceneries? Here is the link to the CR Software scenery. http://www.cr-software.com/FS2004_en/produkte.htm

June 12, 201411 yr You know that this CR Scenery stuff is designed for FS2002? You better go for that one regarding Lugano: http://secure.simmarket.com/flylogic-lugano-x-%28download%29.phtml And for Locarno, this one: http://secure.simmarket.com/aerosoft-small-airfields-switzerland-part-3-%28en_3745%29.phtml Then you get at least FSX sceneries and not those old fashioned stuff... June 12, 201411 yr AnkH, and you know that we are in the FS9 forum and we don't need FSX sceneries? The CR sceneries are for FS2004 only (not compatible with FS2002) and that is exactly what we need. But thanks for the pointer to Swiss Airfields 3, contains a FS9 version as well with some more airfields... Regards, Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
June 12, 201411 yr Ooops, my bad, sorry. Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
June 12, 201411 yr Folks I own the CR version though there is another version available for FS2004 ... Cloud 9's "Fly the Lakes" available through FSDT. It has the advantage of a 5 minute 'trial' so one can see (fleetingly) what is on offer.
June 13, 201411 yr Cloud 9's "Fly the Lakes" available through FSDT. So we have a good choice for Lugano as well as for Locarno. According to some screenshots, Lugano Airport from "Fly the Lakes" is less detailed than the CR (Hegi) version. In a Swiss flightsimming forum, members report problems with objects at the runway and incorrect Afcads. Furthermore, the eSellerate stuff is a matter of taste. Regarding Locarno/Magadino, the CR version seems to miss the new Swiss Air Force hangar, while it may be equal with the Flylogic version in terms of quality. Regarding other Switzerland airports and airfields, the freeware airports and landmarks series "Suisse 2004" by Daniel Gauthier is still very good in my eyes. June 13, 201411 yr Author For the Locarno that is on Simmarket, do you need Switzerland Pro for the scenery to work correct? I don't have Switzerland Pro.
June 13, 201411 yr The product description says that the scenery fits with the photoreal ground of Switzerland Pro. I don't think that you need Switzerland Pro. From the description at Aerosoft.com: "Each airport also fits seamlessly into the photo realistic scenery “Switzerland Professional X” thanks to the exact ground layout." http://en.shop.aerosoft.com/eshop.php?action=article_detail&s_supplier_aid=10711&s_design=DEFAULT&shopfilter_category=Flight%20Simulation&s_language=english Also in the readme document I find no mention of Switzerland Pro as requirement, it is only referred to as "ideal completion". Of course without Switzerland Pro you will realize the change between normal Landclass textures and the photoground of these airfields.
